Love this place. Best Thai yet in Salem. Fresh veggies in the dishes - how refreshing! Great prices, quick service. We always get takeout but I want to eat in since the ambiance is great.

Got take out for Mother’s Day and everything was delicious. Normally we eat in, but this is one of our favorite Thai places in Salem. My wife lived in Thailand for several years and can attest to its authenticity.

our first time trying this place. lazy day so we doordashed. pork larb is one of my favorite dishes and theirs is fantastic. the other 2 dishes we got were great as well. gonna eat there next time.

Tim tum thai has different owners and the recipes are way different now. Over several visits I settled on pineapple chicken curry being my favorite which as a to-go order is served in a soup container for the red curry, chicken pineapple, veggies and white rice separate. Now it's served in a flat plastic tray. No liquid at all so everything is dry. Large carrot pieces are gone. They added whole cashews, cucumbers, lime wedge, and shrimp with tails still on. Got rid of separate rice and changed it to yellow curry. Not impressed

Food was good - service was good- but they need to put some time into cleaning up the inside - needs some paint and easy cleaning- - -bathroom very shabby - they are hard working but minimal effort would help a Lot!

On February 20, 2025, we had our second experience of finding a foreign object in our food at Tup Tim. We had a to-go order of fried egg rolls and found a 6" piece of string in the egg roll. I called the restaurant to report this that night and left a message but in the two weeks that have passed no one has called us back. The first time this happened we found a hard piece of green plastic about 1-2" long inside a fresh roll. We showed them and they offered us a free appetizer in return. We regret that we ever gave them a second chance and strongly encourage everyone to find other reliably clean and safe thai restaurants.

I ordered medium spice level pad Thai and can't finish it. My nose is running. My lips are numb. My stomach is hurting. I do well with spice and love love love a bit of spice in my Pad... This was too much. I'm irritated

We come here often, and unfortunately it has been so inconsistent lately. We get to go orders. My husband has complained the last couple times that the veggies in his curry are under done. Last night I got the massaman curry. The potatoes and carrots were hard as rock and it wasn’t very good because of it.

Don't go here. I've never written a review before, but I'm so bothered - I feel compelled. I ordered a wrap, expecting a wrap - and I got a chunk of romaine lettuce with shredded chicken on the side. Nothing was wrapped. So I called them to ask about it....maybe get the order I was expecting and the lady on the phone was so rude. I explained nothing was wrapped and she said "Well that's what we call it." And she hung up.
No host. Waited 10 minutes to be seated with no one in the restaurant. Had to go into the kitchen to get someone's help. Served wrong items. Not vegetarian. Awful experience. Such a shame. It used to be a nice restaurant. Won't be going back.
Vegetarian options: Asked for both items to be tofu & vegetarian. Both prepared with chicken. Asked to be redone. Meals were served at different times. My friend got her meal and mine arrived 5-10 minutes later. That was the first time they were served. After being prepared vegetarian, again served meals at different times. The woman serving us wasn't particularly pleasant. She wasn't apologetic, just seemed put out.

We ordered curry tonight to take home, but when we eating it. I think I chewed something that is very hard and feels like metal. At first I thought it was fiber from vegetables, as I kept eating. I find out that was fragment from scrubber! Service was nice.

Got take out. The food was good but the price was high. I had the Mango Chicken, a very nice dish. No one is eating there, just a lot of to-go orders. I have the feeling that table service is poor. I base this on how long you wait to be greeted.

I have been getting takeout from here for years, and it has always been delicious. In the past 6 months or so the food has become very bland and not nearly as good as it was. I’m wondering what changed. Please go back to your old recipes because I want to keep supporting you, but the food is no longer something I look forward to
