The food was good and the servers were really nice. However, it seemed like a lot of servers there had rings that looked like a booger up their nose which kind of makes you lose your appetite.

Thanksgiving at Whisky Brown's Restaurant was less than respectable. We had a reservation for 2 at 5:00pm and arrived at 4:50pm, however we were not seated till 5:37pm. The waitress continually walked passed our empty table, but ignoring us. She finally came to our table after my girlfriend flagged her down and asked her to help us. At this point it was 6:22pm and when she finally came to take our order we tried to ease the tension by sympathizing with how busy she must be on Thanksgiving and got her to laugh with us. It was a preset Thanksgiving Dinner, with a few basic options to choose from, so we assumed the food would come out relatively quickly after that.It wasn't until 6:39pm that we were brought out salads, however we still did not have silverware. Along with silverware we asked for cream for our tea and the waitress said she'd be right back. She grabbed one set of silverware and dropped it off at the table behind us. She then came back to our table with the cream, but only one set of silverware, because she didn't realize she gave it to the wrong table. We finally got to eat our salad at 6:47 pm. 30-minutes later, at 7:15pm, my girlfriend and I received our Preset Thanksgiving dinner. As she dropped off the food we asked for more cream for our tea. She swooped by 5 minutes later dropping off a side of cranberry sauce instead. At this point the service was so bad it was actually comical. Never once did the waitress ask how our table was doing or if we needed anything, or even bring us the cream. The meal came with dessert, so I ordered the apple pie and my girlfriend ordered the pumpkin pie (the only 2 options to choose from). The waitress brought both pies, but couldn't remember who ordered which pie so instead she put both pie plates down, threw the spoons on our table, said, "WHATEVER" and walked away. As I was leaving I saw four Whiskey employees out front on a smoke break while there was no help on the inside. This explains our 3-hour dinner.I had planned a special Thanksgiving dinner with my girlfriend at a restaurant that would have an amazing ambiance because they were charging $34-$48 per plate and it was by reservations-only. Instead, it was offensive to any middle-class working person, without apology.Because it was Thanksgiving we still left a 20% tip, but I would not recommend this restaurant for a beautiful evening with your family or significant other at a price of $68 and with a waitress who clearly does not prioritize their tables. As an alternative, I would recommend to anyone to go to Route 99 in Brooks or Del Ama in Corvallis. These restaurants will treat you kindly and want your business. They have great food and are worth the time you spend there.

Worst lunch ever yesterday. There were hard sour dough rolls on the table, and warm water already poured. I opted for a martini which was excellent, a limp old greens looking salad, a small medium rare steak ( almost totally rare), green beans so full of pepper, and twice baked very dry potato and the apple pie was awful as well. There was runny cranberry sauce with the meal, but not the turkey dinner! The turkey dinner looked ok, a bit dry but large portion, the soup was water with a few pieces of zucchini, definitely not advertised harvest vegetable soup, the 6 and 8 oz steaks were exactly the same size. The margarita was undrinkable so much mix in it . I brought home the rolls and tossed them out today they were so hard. I’d eaten there 3 years ago and it was excellent, but I’ll never go back.

As a Bar owner this food was well above average, best Cod fish and chips I have ever had, and I live on the coast. Our waitress was very attentive. Even though we ordered the witches brew and got the Terror from the deep they were both delicious no complaints. The forbidden sour is the best sour I have ever had. Thank you guys for a pleasurable experience

We will definitely try them again and I believe they have 5 star potential. Tonight's experience was not the best but the food and drink were terrific. The staff is nice and works very hard.Go ahead and give them a try.

I’m picky about Fettuccine Alfredo and have gotta say I’ve found the best ever at Whiskey Brown’s. My husband and I ate there recently and I can’t wait to go back again. I’d also like to give a shout out to Paul our server/bartender, went over and beyond! Sherri Stortz

Food is good, service is hit and miss. The most recent time I ordered after a round of golf, it took them 45 minutes to make a breakfast burrito. I reminded them at 30 minutes and they claimed the kitchen had made the wrong thing. Clearly some communication issues here...

As a DISABLED individual I will never return. Was invited to an event in this restaurant. Parking was right in front of the restaurant- great. However to actually get in you have to go clear around to the back and then navigate your way through all the tables and seated diners to get to the front desk. Then where I was instructed to go for the event we were wanting to attend, they said right up those stairs, pointing to a grand staircase. I asked where is the elevator to which I was informed...THEY HAVE NO ELEVATOR. The staff was incredible, empathetic and apologetic but that could not help me up those stairs. Just wanting to give anyone that has a disability a heads up before you go.

Made the mistake of sitting in the bar for dinner - had the luxury of the company of off-duty staff drinking and sharing their shift woes - not good for atmosphere or business to say the least. Good to hear that the chicken for the Wednesday specials is pre-cooked from FSA, and that nobody likes their job.

The food was excellent, my coffee cup never reached the bottom as the waitress was very attentive. The mashed potatoes were real and the Mr. Browns meatloaf had a unique flavor that I would like to experience again. Very nice place to eat and this was our 2nd anniversary. We enjoyed dinner.

I really wanted to like this place. ? We both ordered the ribeye medium rare and not only was it extremely chewy and tough it had no flavor. We also ordered a side of brussels and the server didn't bother to tell us that was also the veggie of the day, so we were drowning in them. I have never had brussels so tasteless and with so many stalks. The twice baked potatoe was half of a very small potatoe and sad and flavorless. I had very dry mashed potatoes with no seasoning, butter or flavor. . Don't even get me started on our waters never being filled or my husband never being offered a refill on his soda. Won't be going back.

Our favorite reason to come here is Paul, the bartender. He works so hard and is the best of the best. He remembers our favorite foods and our preferred drinks and he’s the main reason we come here. If he weren’t here, we probably wouldn’t come. The food can be good but not consistent...salmon, chicken, etc. The onion rings used to be great; now, not so much, the batter is terrible. This restaurant has a gorgeous setting, which is a major draw but without good food…great service is what draws us in and that would be Paul. Thank you Paul!!! I go here regularly for business meetings. We love the atmosphere. It is quiet, even when it's crowded, and the building itself is really cool. The food is pretty middle of the road, standard fare for breakfast, typical American style diner lunch menu. The fries are good. The staff have always been really friendly. I'll keep going back.
