Great lunch spot downtown Salem. It gets crowded, so you have to wait a bit, but the food is worth the wait. I had a chicken salad sandwhich and butternut squash soup. We also had pizza which was cooked to perfection, and a great salad. The service was on point!

This restaurant has seen a large improvement, the last time I was here wasn't a great experience, this time it was. The place was not too crowded or too loud, which makes for a better experience.Still don't have espresso Martini even though they have an espresso machine, get with the times already, you're missing out non tons of drink profits.Add wireless chargers. It makes people stay longer because they want to charge their phones. Add cherries to your old-fashioned drink as well, 3 of them are best. The food was good, and appetizers were delicious as well. The food took a bit to get to us, but I feel that it's because of the quality control and making sure everyone gets a good meal and presentation.I colant remember if there was music, if there was it it was barely noticed, place is worth a visit and lunch is always a good bet.

Does anyone even read reviews anymore. I don’t think so. But I digress. Wild pear does it again. We went for happy hour and dined outside. It was perchance, the happiest of hours. I had the shrimp lobster melt. My reason for living had the Jessica burger. My melt was very flavorful and the chips were crunchy and a nice pairing. The burger was unctuous and the melted bri really brought it home. For sides we had truffle fries and the bri cheese with French bread. Both apps were delicious but I would highly recommend the Bri as a side.

Excellent food in a cozy atmosphere. I had the Banh Mi, one sister had the BLTA & another had the turkey, lettuce, tomato & avocado. Great flavors! When the wind blows, it can be a little chilly inside. Terrific place!

Had a date night there last night. After going to a couple other restaurants that had to long of a wait we got to wild pear and was immediately seated which was so nice!.Had the corn dip appetizers and it was delicious! Nice and creamy and the chips where fresh and hot.My husband had a Jessica burger which he loved and I had the French dip, the Au Jus was so flavorful and salty in a good way! It definitely added so much more favor to the delicious sandwich! Not to much onion and peppers and filled with meat. .We ended up getting the bread pudding which was so good! The homemade carmel sauce was top tier!Definitely will be back, service was great as well our server was so nice and helpful when trying to decide which things where the best.

We arrived right before the lunch rush began, but we still received quick, friendly service. And the food was wonderful. We each ordered sandwiches and house-made chips. We will return whenever we visit Salem.

I really enjoyed a nice lunch: Wild Pear salad and Butternut Squash soup. It is a busy spot, but the service was great.
