The pastries and coffee in the bakery are some of my favorite in town and the people are always so friendly. I highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area.

quaint and warmly welcoming service staff, just don't expect fancy salads, this is the land of iceberg lettuce and ranch dressing and it's awesome

Stopped in for coffee and a Croissant bacon breakfast sandwich. Both were delicious! They also had a cute little gift shop and lots of pastries!

Had a pastry at the bakery. Fun atmosphere, lots of souvenirs to look at, calory-dense but delicious comfort food.

A bakery that clearly understands it's on the Oregon trail and shows that with it s historic offerings and memorabilia in the gift shop. This place used to be really cheap, and now it's on the low end of the high side. Excellent food, especially their sandwiches which are reasonably priced. I've heard people rave about the coffee, though I've never had it. They have an astounding collection of candy from a long time ago. Stuff you haven't seen probably since the '70s. However bizarre your candy was, like candy cigarettes, or pop rocks, or just flat out Necco wafers, they'll have them. Plenty of them. The gift shop changes for the season, and has an excellent selection of Christmas decor. Pre-order your dinner rolls for Thanksgiving or Christmas and you won't be disappointed, but they do need to be eaten within 3 days. If you like cinnamon rolls, he won't be disappointed. They also have whole cakes and pies as well as slices available daily. This is one of the most popular spots in Sandy, so if you're there in the middle of the day or in the early evening, it's going to be busy. The waiting line can be fairly long, but they move as fast as they can. You won't find employees standing around in this bakery. There are a couple of tables to eat there, and there is outside seating as well.

Cozy, tasty and affordable goods/coffee. Try the banana muffins!

Coffee and pastries are so delicious and well priced. We stopped there for lunch after a long hike and truly enjoyed everything. The pastries are not overly sweet, and reminded us of baked goods in Europe. We ended up buying more for breakfast the next day. Excellent counter staff. Too bad we don't live there!

I hear is quite often they have great breakfasts and one of those big old burgers with the ham and the eggs and all that stuff on it I was sorry to see that they got rid of their mac and cheese with the brisket slab in the middle that was one of my personal faves but all in all the place is awesome they have great bloody marys in the bar and their bakery is the best around with super affordable coffee drinks I think they're like $5 for 16 oz and the pastries and other Nummies in that building take me back to my childhood and leave my head whirling, much likely from the sugar rush. 😄
