Stopped here for a quick bite on our way home from St Helen's and had the BEST experience. The owner Don is so friendly and personable. We had some good conversations about The Grateful Dead and he actually showed us some genuine memorabilia and I would 10/10 recommend a stop here to anyone. I would even go out of my way as a Dead fan to experience the atmosphere. The food was delicious, great portions, and came out quickly.

Place is closed. They should say so on their Facebook page since their website has no content and directs you to FB and Instagram. Drove there to find a sign out front “closed for repairs.” Looked dirty and unkept in the outdoor seating area. Probably won’t go back if it reopens.

Wonderful food and music. A Portland-area treasure.
Really inviting atmosphere lasagna was amazing I was lucky enough to meet the owner and he told me about some of the history of the Bands that have played there and the story about the business through the years really nice place I even won on the machines there i will definitly bw returning here i read some of these reviews and asked the owner how they coukd have gotten that kind of impression about this place apparently one of them is an employee who was fired for multiple reasons including theft the other is a guy who was beating up his girl friend so he got 86ed and told not to return anyhow good times and good storys i think it is great when you get to listen to an owner go through the history nice guy have a nice day you should definitly check this place out

I worked there for 6.5 years . Food was good then. Since the owner has done nothing but run it into the ground since then. Worst person ive ever worked for. Id rather eat out of a dumpster than set foot inside the rosebud. Glad i quit and moved on. Lifes much better now. And don stop spreading lies about me you worthless excuse of a human. Youre pathetic and you deserve eveything karma brings you. Youve earned it. Just sayin ? have a nice day.

Its laid back in the bar but wild outside cool place to chill .And he is smart enough to stay open late unlike the other local bars whom must have so much money they close early everyday but not the bud.
When we stopped in to eat they were super busy glad we did cause I just loved the lasagna was amazing drinks came quickly and a great place to play poker will be definitely going back there.Thank you rose bu

just keep on driving. really disappointing food and service. worst dive in town. waited an hour + for food, kept being asked WHY we were asking for simple things like silverware. felt sick immediately after to top off a really depressing dining experience.

What a great little place. Great atmosphere and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The lasagna is Nona approved. We are new to the town and will definitely be regulars at the Rosebud Cafe.
