Camp 18 is a family-friendly destination that offers a delightful dining experience. The restaurant serves generous portions, including huge cinnamon rolls, larger-than-usual hamburgers, and crispy fries. The Beef and Cheddar Melt is a popular choice, and the French dip is a yummy salty goodness. The staff is accommodating and full of Oregon charm, even when dealing with large groups. The building is a log structure with the largest roof beam in all the land, featuring a giant fireplace and logging history around every corner. Outside is full of historical logging equipment, including a rail crane, steam donkey, saws, giant pulleys, and razor-sharp falling axes. The restaurant also features a logging museum, gift shop, and nature walk, making it a unique and special place to visit. The log cabin environment and lit fireplace create a cozy atmosphere, and the outside area is filled with cool logging equipment to look at. While the food is diner quality and not "knock your socks off," it is still great, with good-sized servings.
