New Garden Asian Cuisine

I had the double mushroom tofu entree with rice and a spring roll. It was delicious! Had button and shiitake mushrooms, snap peas, carrots, and green onions.

The staff are fantastic and the food is consistently good. The menu has a good selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes.

Good Chinese food. They are very vegan friendly. This is our usual reliable stop when we go to Seaside and work my space at Seaside Antique Mall. Nice atmosphere, friendly service, reliable food, and reasonably priced. The thing we order most is the Vegetable Deluxe and General Tsao's Tofu, and we share them. There's always extra, so we bring our own take home containers so we can avoid the extra plastic. There have been a few things we haven't liked there. The mapo tofu and the tofu mushroom (the reconstituted mushrooms were not to our liking). Everything else we've gotten has been pretty good. Updated from previous review on 2025-02-10

this is by far one of the best Asian cuisine places in seaside. i go here at east once a month and it never disappoints. no mater what you get it always taste great. and the service is always fast and friendly

New Garden Asian Cuisine is located on Broadway just a short walk from the Lewis and Clark turnaround and Promenade on beautiful Seaside Beach at Seaside, Oregon. Seaside is a very active tourist town, And typically I've come to expect very high prices and not always the best food in tourist towns. New Garden is the exception that proves the rule. The food is amazingly well priced*, fresh, hot and delicious, handmade on the spot for every order. The staff was instantly attentive when we entered and their smiles and happy personalities made it great. She brought our soup quickly and the entrées hot and fresh immediately after. They checked on us several times during the meal which was very refreshing. The restaurant is located in the Carousel Mall right in the heart of the approach to Seaside Beach, yet it feels very cozy and intimate. A very relaxing place to eat I only regret that I didn't find out about it until the last day we were here. I recommend you find it quickly when you come to Seaside because you will want to enjoy it more than once. ☺️
* We've seen single entree prices upwards of $48 in other food stops in the PNW. Our total bill for TWO entrees, fried rice, pot stickers, egg flower soup and iced tea was only $34 and change. Wonderful place!

Kid-friendliness: Cute shops for souvenirs, stuffies and clothing. And don't forget the fantastic CAROUSEL!!! The kids will love it.

I ordered the Kung Pai tofu and garlic green beans. The green beans especially were delicious!! You need to confirm with the staff which vegetarian items are vegan.
