Every time we visit we make a stop here. It’s a great spot to take a toddler. The food is reliably decent and we’ve always had friendly staff.

Large portions of tasty food. We visit every time we head to Seaside!
Dietary restrictions: Their gluten-free toast and pancakes are delicious!
Kid-friendliness: This is a very comfortable place to eat with kids. They even have toys for sale that kids can browse through while waiting for their food to come (which doesn't ever take long!)

Excellent flavor in the food, their attention is very cordial. If you go for breakfast and drink coffee. They don't let your cup be empty.

What can I say? This place is iconic for a reason.
My family have been coming here since I was a girl. It was my hubby's first time.. Its not super fancy but definitely fills you up.
I do think it has gotten more overpriced lately but I also think that is just how it is now a days.
I got the smaller appetite French toast, egg and sausage ($14.50). Hubby got the ham with egg, hash brown and sourdough ($18.75 - that one was hard to justify). Got one cake to split with each other ($3) and both got coffee ($4 each).
The French toast was small but delicious. It came with a strawberry compote (brought in) and I put that sh*t on everything. My egg was scrambled and you could tell it was from a jug, it was edible. I was not a huge fan of the sausage was too dense for me but my hubby ate it down.
Ham was a good portion slab with great flavor. We both loved the hash brown. Perfectly cooked and not overly greasy. Sourdough was thick and toasted well (I ate most of his toast.. So good).
Pancake was amazing. Cooked well and great flavor. Put the strawberry on there also.. No syrup needed.
Coffee was acceptable. I would not say it was the best cup of joe but it was fresh and not bitter so I will take it.
The restaurant itself is clean and spacious. Has a cute gift shop attached to it. The waitstaff and bussers are super nice and attentive.
Overall, I am happy with the experience. WE both got stuffed. I think it is an an iconic part of Seaside. And a great go to if you want a no frills breakfast.

Bronda provided amazing service, very pleasant and attentive. The dungeness crab Benedict was amazing!! Bacon was also pretty good and the coffee didn't disappoint either, definitely looking forward to a return trip!

Got some really burnt toast, asked for a different slice, and she forgot to bring it. I had to shaun ask for it. Mom asked for extra butter, and we asked three times for utensils. Pancakes were also cold. Waitress was nice enough, just very forgetful, and it was not busy. This used to be a decent place for food and the prices were nice we paid $60 for us three girls to have breakfast.

I have been going here for forever, but they have made some changes recently that has put me off. The staff is still great and super nice, but the quality of food seems to have gone down. My most favorite thing to get there is the Dungeness Crabs Benedict. But the crab just isn't the same, it tastes fake or canned. Which is really weird to say, but I love dungeness crab and I get it fresh all the time and this just wasn't it. It's not a cheap meal either and it's just disappointing to not enjoy your favorite meal especially when they made it so well years ago.
