Sam's Seaside Cafe Reviews
the service is non existent. love the food if you can get anyone to wait on you. I keep going back and have waited over a 1/2 hour and no one even brings you water or takes your order. this has happened 3 out of the 6 times I've been there. 3 times I have walked out do to no one helping us. sad. we were not the only ones to walk out. hope the owners see this review.
I grew up in Oregon and would come to Seaside all the time growing up.
Since then I moved away to Illinois. I just came back for a family members funeral and decided while I was here I would take my son to the beach.
I could smell the delicious food blocks away & knew we needed to eat our dinner there.
Best Halibut I have ever had 🤤
Will definitely plan on coming here each time I'm in town.
We had clam chowder for lunch and came back for dinner. Halibut and chips, and Jambalaya. For dessert peanut butter pie. Both tasted great and good portions. Linda was very friendly and always checked on us. Pictures are in the comments.

The cafe offers a nice street view, and customers can enjoy art made by previous guests. The menu has lots of different options, including fish tacos, French dip sandwich, Alaskan cod fish and chips, jambalaya, and fish n chips (halibut). The fries are cooked to a crispy perfection, and the staff are all friendly, although there have been some issues with waitstaff availability.
