All of the reviews are spot on—this little gelato shop is a gem! The staff is so kind and welcoming, the prices are great, and the gelato flavors are absolutely fantastic. I also love that they’re open fairly late. We had such a good experience and will definitely be making this a regular stop whenever we’re in Seaside. Highly recommend!
The best gelato in the US, if not the world!
I’ve tried gelato all over Europe and anywhere I find it stateside. And when I say “try”, if there’s gelato around, I’m eating it at least a few times a day. Of the hundreds of scoops I’ve had, none were as good as any scoop I’ve had from Sea Star. Their American flair on classic flavors and their own unique creations always hit! 8 flavors of sorbet! Most of the flavors on our trip were fruit flavors which was a bit of a bummer. We tried the Blood Orange and Mint. The mint tastes straight up like toothpaste so be warned. The blood orange was excellent. They were both very "creamy."
