Fat Milo’s has become one of our favorite brunch places. Located in a charming small town setting and offering exceptional food and service, it is the perfect near-home getaway.

My wife and I eat at Fat Milo‘s several times a month well anytime we’re in Sherwood. In my humble opinion, they have the best chicken fried steak in the state. Very friendly and courteous just a good place to eat highly recommend it.

Excellent elevated diner cuisine. Had the Chicken plate, which was awesome. Chicken was moist and breading was perfect. House made BBQ sauce was crazy good. My son had a kids burger, and they let him sub out a biscuit for the fries with no fuss. He loved the biscuit, which I guess is a family recipe. Great little gem in Sherwood.

Food was good. They have the traditional breakfast but with a twist. The combinations are different and sound a little odd to the picky eater that I am but the French toast grilled sandwich was good. We also had a waffle which was the normal Belgian waffle. Everyone was very friendly! First time eating here and I'm glad we decided to try out a new place. We will be back.

Great food, inclusive vibe, friendly people, strong coffee. Have the heuvos rancheros or egg cheese breakfast sandwich for true comfort.

Terrible management and service! I’ve never seen anything quite like it. We were the next in line to be seated. Waited at least 20 minutes with 4 open tables in plain sight. We felt invisible to the entire staff. No acknowledgement, no explanation. Finally I asked what was going on. The employee said that they were catching up because of a new cook. It would have been a real good idea for at least one member of their staff to explain this. It would have been a solid idea to at least seat us and explain the situation. Ignoring customers completely is mind boggling. We left. I will pass this along to everyone within ear shot. Stay away from this place!
To the management’s response. Nonsense! We were never greeted in any way. My wife signed us in and we were completely ignored until I asked questions. You are lying to cover your tracks. Fortunately, we cannot be the only ones that this is happening to as there were several confused people behind us. Keep up the great work. You’ll be out of business soon enough. Plenty of places to eat in the area.
One more thought…. Call me a liar again.
Ok.

Great breakfast in Sherwood! Nick to great care of us. The best breakfast we have had in the Portland area. Try The G.O.A.T breakfast sandwich.

Stopped here to try somewhere new as we were visiting from out of town.
I had the Belgian waffle and it was DELICIOUS. The bread was so sweet and buttery, it was so soft I could cut it with my fork. The seasonal fruit made it even more delicious. Would absolutely come again.

Service is poor
3 other tables got seated and served before us.
Had to ask on more than one occasion for help. Seated 25 minutes before water.
I’m all about supporting local but need to provide better customer service.

Ok, no photos taken but the food was delicious and the portions are large. I split the bourbon French toast and the GOAT breakfast sandwich. I was so excited they use challah for their French toast which was soaked and grilled to perfection. Don’t get me started on the potatoes that came with the GOAT sandwich and the tomato jam. The potatoes were seasoned just right and had a little crisp to the outside and soft on the inside. The tomato jam on the GOAT sandwich with sweet with a little hint of spice. I can’t wait to grab other friends and enjoy this little spot again. Also, they opened up a second location in NE PDX April 2025 so if you live closer to that location, show them some love and head on over for a fantastic meal!
I do want to mention the service, every single person working was so kind and welcoming! Thanks A’Leesha!
I will definitely be back.
