House of Good Fortune Reviews
The food is generally ok BUT the service is awful!! Take out orders could take an hour longer than the time provided when order was placed!!! An order that is said to be ready in25 minutes took over an hour. When I arrived to pick it up - already at 35 minutes- the lobby was full of people waiting. I was then told it would be another 15ish minutes. They just started cooking when I arrived!!! All people want is an accurate timing!!!
Love the Hot & Sour soup
We eat here at least once a month
Great service, very clean, delicious food

House of Good Fortune is a restaurant that offers a main menu and a separate one featuring Pho. The restaurant stands out with its freshly made dishes, allowing for dietary accommodations. It is located in a strip mall with ample parking and is wheelchair accessible, offering high chairs for families with kids. The service is professional, cordial, and flexible, although recent reviews mention that service can sometimes be inconsistent, with delays in food delivery and lack of water refills. The menu includes popular dishes like Mongolian Beef, house lo mein, and mushu pork, all prepared just right with noodles cooked to preference. Customers often enjoy the delicious Chinese food and appreciate the good lunch options, such as the Good Fortune Chow Mein Lunch Combo, which comes with soup, a spring roll, and wontons. The food quality remains consistently good, and despite some occasional service issues, the atmosphere is simple and spacious. Recent visitors have noted that the restaurant has been nicely remodeled and that the staff is lovely and quick to serve. Some have enjoyed the Mongolian beef and Kung pao chicken, with the option to request extra spice. Customers also find it nostalgic, recalling past visits with family and enjoying the experience, even if sometimes the takeout food like BBQ pork buns can be dry if not eaten promptly.
