Love Bites by Carnie

Love Bites by Carnie has screwed up my last three online orders that I purchased all within a month! All in the note card, which was special because they were gifts. The first order they screwed up two times on the note card and forgot a mug. The card even said it was from the WRONG names! The last order was my son’s birthday card that wasn’t even completed. I complained to customer service and all they did is offer me 10% off that order and 25% off my next order, but I had to pay first before getting the discount. I’m so disappointed because I spent a lot of money and gave them several chances. Sadly they just kept making a mistake on every order. So I’m done ordering from them. A really DISSATISFIED customer.

We decided to order the Love Bite Cookies by Carnie via a facebook ad I received. I ordered the regular short bread, chocolate chip and maple butter cookies. How disappointed I was to see the ingredient for butter was butter oil? Yuk! You could taste the oily texture too. Where's the real butter? These cookies are very small as well. The shortbread is not up to standard fare. The chocolate chip shortbread was ok, really lacking in chips. I expected far more from these cookies. Very disappointed and will not order these cookies again by mail.

This place is great. Grab a latte and a a treat and relax for a bit. They also host fun events in the none-corona days.

Living nearby, I stopped by to pick up some cheesecake bites. Unfortunately, Love Bites’ physical location is currently not open to the public due to Covid restrictions. I do hope the closure is only temporary!! Thankfully, they do continue to sell some items online. If you plan to visit the shop in Sherwood, perhaps a call first to make certain they’re open. It is definitely worth your time if you’re able to go.

Definitely a place worth visiting, the food is awesome and fresh, the pricing is reasonable and it is constantly well kept in here. Highly recommended.

I wanted to share a little more about the experience my wife and I had here. my previous post did not have any comments but rather a simple rating. Although, we found Love Bites located in a small industrial area not common for a retail place it was really nice decorated. The young man who help us was polite and helpful (found out later he is the son of the owner). It was a nice surprise to find they also served nice sandwiches beside great deserts.

This review is intended for the small dessert bites offered by Love Bites. I had the best experience visiting the Sherwood location and the reason for my good experience was a young woman named Kim. First, Kim was very kind to me when I misunderstood the ordering instructions. Not only did she make me feel welcomed, even though I made a mistake, she was also very kind calm, collected, and willing to help me make my decision in my order. This was my first experience at Love Bites and definitely not my last. Thank you Love Bites, I hope more people discover your wonderful location!

I recently ordered a care package as a thank you to a School Principal who has helped out my family tremendously in the last few weeks! I wanted to show her how much we treasure her by sending one of your care packages!Unfortunately, your shipping method of choice, FedEX was so disappointing!! They never sent me updated tracking info, the order is lost somewhere in their warehouse, and now they are updating with incorrect info and can not guarantee a shipping date. They are saying it's a last attempt to deliver tomorrow and marking undeliverable, BUT their customer service is saying it's "somewhere" in their warehouse.Please consider changing your shipping method. I'm now out money, had to contact the Principal and spoil the surprise and she may not even receive the gift. Will this be refunded?Is there anything Love Bites by Carnie can do!!??

Ok folks here we go. I drove from NE Portland today and got to Love Bites at opening. I was only gonna get some cookies and Cheesecakes but that was soon to change. The wife and I always try to eat healthy and there’s nothing healthier than fresh food (less preservatives means less bad stuff). The Ham and cheddar on wheat that we split was more than filling. Topped it off with Iced Mochas and the cookies for dessert. What a Great Lunch!!! Quality shines in everything here. You can actually tell how fresh the flour in the cookie is. It really is JUST THAT GOOD.

Cute, comfortable atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile! There’s even fun games to play while having a sweet and a latte. Delectable bite size treats that are the perfect size — not overwhelming in the least.

My cousin surprised me as I flew into Portland from L.A for Christmas by taking me to Love Bites. it happens to be a day that Carnie was there. I ordered pesto chicken sandwich with the side salad, and it was to die for. it was so fresh, and the flavors were amazing. The staff was so warm and welcoming, as was the atmosphere. Then Carnie came out and I about cried. Lol. She's so fun and down to earth, and wanted to make sure we tried her new items, so she herself brought some out for us to sample. she even went as far as to do a video chat with my friend and a big fan while we were there, and was excited to do it. To top it off we order Cheesecake bite to go, and they were like heaven. I can't wait to visit her shop again, by until then ill take advantage of the online ordering and shipping! <3

I was a bit disappointed by my experience here. We walked in this morning and there were no other guests in the establishment. I had some questions about the coffee and the girl that helped us wasn’t very knowledgeable about the syrups or the amount of espresso but she was able to ask the other woman working (I assume the owner or manager) who seemed like we were burdening her with our questions. The girl who rang us up was friendly and nice, we ordered 2 breakfast burritos and 2 coffees. The latte wasn’t anything to write home about, I could have made that at home but the burritos were tasty and filling. While we were eating 2 other parties came into the store and we decided to take some desserts to go. Being our first time visiting, we weren’t exactly sure how the order worked so we were picking out desserts and ordering them near the dessert case. The owner/manager was the one helping us this time and she was extremely unfriendly again. She was standing at the register but did not nicely tell us we could place the order and then she would box our desserts, she instead said something about coming over to the register, again in a not-so-friendly tone. I thought she would pull them from the case, I didn’t realize the desserts were in a refrigerator behind the counter or I would have ordered from the register not the case, but she could have communicated this to us. The biggest disappointment came this evening when we decided to have our desserts; they all tasted like plastic, almost like the way you would expect a new pool floaty or air mattress to taste by the way they smell when you first open them. Maybe they were old or that’s the packaging they come or sit in, but I really felt like I wasted my sweets calories on these. I don’t foresee visiting this place again.
