The service seemed to rush us out of there. I didnt feel like I was wanted there. The food is meh, they make it sound upscale but the only thing upscale is the cost. They really need to focus on that part because the menu is a misrepresentation of what actually is served.
We had a really good time sitting at the bar at a recent visit. The bar staff were very, very friendly and seemed to enjoy being there. I gave it a three star in food because we had to send one plate back because the food was cold but they redid the entire plate and second time around it was excellent!
We stayed for the weekend and went to the Fireside Lounge Friday and Saturday night. The live music is great, the atmosphere is nice, the service is horrendous. The first night, Friday, the waitress came to us rather quickly, told us to get our own water, and didn’t know what they had on tap. After we got our appetizers and drinks, she never stopped by again. We had to flag her down to pay. Tonight, Saturday, my wife ordered a drink which she never received. Fireside Lounge offers great wine, filling salads with tasty chicken, and delicious brownies. The happy hour drinks are a good deal, with entertaining local entertainment in a fun atmosphere. However, some regulars have noticed a decline in food quality and service recently. Despite this, the cozy ambiance with a wood-burning fireplace in winter remains a draw for many.
