Stopped in at Los Girasoles in Silverton between jobs because it looked like a nice little spot. The place is simple but clean, with plenty of space to sit comfortably.
I ordered a torta—one of my go-to items when it’s done right. It was okay, but nothing memorable. I was expecting more flavor and that classic toasted bread that gives a torta the right texture and depth.
That said, the pastries looked really good, and the location is great. I’m not trying to be harsh—I just think they can step it up if they want to deliver a more authentic Mexican experience. I’d come back and try something else.

Foods is pretty good. It is only a little difficult if you want burritos with no onion. It looks like the meat was made with onions. I have a special needs son who will not eat onions.

Anytime I'm down in this area, I make a POINT to get food from here. For such a cute, unassuming place, the food and baked goods are phenomenal. The staff is pleasant and clearly doing their best when it's busy, even though the wait is always worth it. I recommend this place to anyone I know is going to be nearby!
I’ve been coming to this place since like 2019 and I only keep coming back because they’re food quality is good and maybe it’s just inflation but it’s almost twice as much as the food trucks down the road now so that kinda sucks
