Mainly here to say the service here sucks. The attitudes these entitled kids have these days. I saw the interactions and walked out. Shame on the owner. I should've read the comments first.

Great atmosphere (very kid friendly) with even better baked goods! Our boys love going and getting, “nummies”, at the bake shop and we are yet to find anything we didn’t love! Even branched out and tried the sweet potato bar last time we were in and it was INCREDIBLE. A must try for locals and people passing through alike.

Nothing but good things to say about Silverton Bake Shop! We worked with Megan for an event, and she was helpful every step of the way. The cookies looked fantastic and tasted even better. They took a huge headache out of event planning. Highly recommend for events or even just stopping in for a treat.

Had a death in the family. A large box of delicious cookies was ordered for my girlfriend and I. The owner was very nice , professional and sincere. Her condolences made my dark day turn into nice vibes. Each cookie put a smile on my face. Great bakery!!! This shop is an asset to the community!!

Megan made the most beautiful cake for our daughter’s wedding - even in the face of power outages causing her to lose much progress. It was everything I hoped for! Recommend her whole-heartedly.

I purchased the assorted mini cookies for my office. The assortment was awesome and the macaroons were definitely the favorites. The shop is clean and quaint. I am definitely a repeat customer.

Silverton Bake Shop was most generous in helping us to celebrate our teaching staff. They made it affordable and donated some goodies. Our teachers were thrilled and loved the option of having gluten free baked goods! Thank you!

My colleagues and I were brought an assortment of goodies from Silverton Bake Shop- not only did they taste wonderful, they also came at the perfect moment right when we were in need of some holiday magic. The festive sprinkle cookies were absolutely adorable AND delectable. Thank you so much!
Had this wonderful local company bring my dream wedding cake to life and it was everything I hoped for. It tasted absolutely amazing and looked even more stunning. The detail on the flowers, the pearls, and the lettering was perfect. If you’re planning a wedding, do yourself a favor and book them for your cake!

First I want to say the baked goodies are delicious and fresh. The service is horrible. I have been in 4 different times and different staff each time. No acknowledgement you even walked in stand for a while wondering if anyone even works at the place. This last visit she came out from the back and ask what I needed. As if I was bothering her. Well came in for some goodies and a coffee. Do you not take walk in customers? Had a couple ahead of me and they walked out due to nobody being out or even saying they would be right there. The put out attitude is very unwelcoming. It's the same every time. I don't think the staff are horrible people but maybe the manager or owners don't make it a very fun place to work and it shows. It's a extremely cute place that needs some life. I came in before my son walked to Mac's Place to order fish and chips. He returned with his whole meal package nicely with sauce, napkins, and a fork before I even ordered a simple coffee from the cranky girl working. During lunch rush! Nobody expects rocket fast service. But a smile and some cheerfulness goes along ways. Just acknowledging that someone walked through the doors is huge. Even if it is said from the back. I felt like I was disruptive to her day and didn't get the 2 slices of cheesecake cause the eye rolls were way more than I could handle just for a simple coffee. As I said above I don't think it's that you have crap employees. I think they are stressed out and not happy. Maybe get different manager or make it a fun place for them to work. That is so important. If you don't want to serve walk in customers then lock your doors. I actually will never come back. I feel I have gave it 4 tries and same every time. First try was during goblin walk. Word on the street was don't there they are nasty. It was true. Maybe your making enough doing side work in the back your don't need the store front.
