The best schnitzel I've ever had. Great house mix Bloody Mary's! Excellent service!Charday was a wonderful Bartender / server and made me the best bloody Mary I've had in town. She also let me know of a few brewerys to check out while I'm in town.Definitely worth checking out if you live here or are just passing through.Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options

Food was very tasty! They were out of a few things, but what we had was very good. They accommodated my request for something that's usually on the dinner menu and offered a free item for the item that wasn't available.Kid-friendliness: They helped split one dish between our 2 kiddos and brought them more condiments as requested.

The service was nice the food was not. I ordered Brat Poppers, Karteburger, and a drink to go.The Brat Poppers came out inedibley burnt, and the Karteburger was missing its beer braised onions, fresh mesclun, and wholegrain mustard aioli. Basically just a $19 cheese burger with some wilty lettus. On top of that, the patty was so overcooked and dry that it was like eating jerky.I was excited to eat here, but after this I would not recommend it to anyone nor return. If you want a low quality burger, save some money and go to Macdonald, it will taste better.

Pig and Turnip makes incredible food. My husband and I got Pretzels as appetizers, then 2 sausages and the schnitzel sandwich. Wow! So much food (we had leftovers) and it was all very, very good. It's not often that literally every part of each dish is delicious. They also were very friendly and had good service. My only wish is that there was some cute outside seating. The new location has a cool interior but not much curb appeal. Regardless, I will be coming back and I hope more people visit soon! Highly recommend!

The vibe and decor were great. The food was good...but not fantastic. It was lacking seasoning and my husband's Rueben came out completely dry, so we were somewhat begrudgingly given a small container of thousand island dressing. My father in law asked for no grilled onions but received them anyway. They were out of the chicken tenders for the kid's meal. The service was acceptable, but we were the only table in the restaurant and it took a while to be addressed, and it seemed like a bit of an inconvenience when we were. I might give them another try.

Bratwurst lacked seasoning and flavor. It was barely lukewarm and sauerkraut, onion jam and side order of cabbage cold. Disappointed and will not waste my money again.

This place is FIRE. Very clean and enjoyable environment, friendly staff ( don't speak German) Ha,Ha..GREAT food and the wait time seemed short ! We tried the Braut bites ,the jumbo pretzel with white cheese sauce and of course the Rubin sandwich. All was very good ? I highly recommend a stop by !Parking: Easy pull in ,park and exit. All wheel chair accessible parking and entrance.

I took my mom and daughter here. The vibe and ambiance are nice. It's warm, well lit and has booths. To start we ordered the platter, $17 (pictured). It was OK. We ordered two burgers and a pork schnitzel. The pork schnitzel was good! The burgers were very average. I ordered the German potato salad as a side. I didn't care for it at all. The pretzel bun was good. There was just a lack of flavor in anything. Even my burger, which was the bacon jam, it didn't taste bacon-y at all. $15-$17 per burger was a little steep for something meh. Probably won't go back. Staff was very nice though.

No impressed with service. It was slow. When customers left, their dishes were left on the table of a long time. One table remained in washed the whole time we were there and our service was slow. The food did not make up for the service. I hope their locations are better.

Loved our experience at Pig & Turnip, we tried a Ruben and German potato salad and schnitzel and waffles. My favorite find of the evening was the german potato salad, it was tangy bacony and surprisingly great!Again, wonderful experience dining at Pig and Turnip. Tried the bratwurst today, it's delicious loved the pretzel bun. ?Vegetarian options: I think schnitzels can be made with eggplant instead of pork. They might have more options, that's just what I remember from the menu.

This seemingly German restaurant had the plainest Bratwurst (German sausage) I’ve ever had.The sauce on top attempts to add something back, but it can’t help the utter lack of flavor.

Wanted to try location on Franklin Blvd as we have never been. Boy were we disappointed! Restaurant was not busy and it took an extremely long time to get our food. Actually our Appetizer, Fondue feast, came out with our entrees. The fondue was horrible: thick and congealed like it was scraped off the bottom of a pan. Presentation was nice with fresh apples, carrot cucumber, picked onion with olives and toasted bread. Our Rueben sandwich was cold but had good flavor. The Kabob meat, toppings were tasty but pita wrap was hard and crispy. Side salads were the highlight with the delicious vinaigrette dressing! When the waitress finally checked-on with us, we asked for hot, liquid fondue cheese and our fries that were forgotten. Both were delivered promptly.Waitress offered to bring us another complimentary beer for our troubles but it was a no- show ?We always like to try new places but we most likely will not be coming back.

All of the food was cold and the service is non existent. Make sure you get the fondue otherwise your food will be bland. If you want to pay triple for your food for the same you would get at fast food then come here.
