About Cafe Seoul

Cafe Seoul is a true family owned business right across from U of O. The new owners are incredible, so friendly and personable. The food is delicious, with a crazy great storm of galbi and chicken teriyaki. The short rib soup and seafood pajeon are tasty and not overly salty, with tender meat that is warm and comforting. The purple rice is cooked well and perfect to dunk in the broth, and the pajeon is on the fluffier side. Short ribs and tempura shrimp come out piping hot and fresh, served with a smile. The complimentary tea and barley tea on the counter are lovely. The restaurant is very clean, and the staff is kind, attentive, and polite. Customers love chatting and laughing with them. One guest recalled liking the food very much, even though Jjajangmyeon was not available. Another thanked the restaurant for 15+ years of memories and delicious meals, wishing the owners a happy retirement.

This was the best experience! The food was absolutely stellar. Definitely the best kimchi. The service was excellent, we felt taken care of from start to finish. The food came out quick and perfect, with beautiful presentation. The host/server was the best, he took time to really talk to us, and we all felt like we were old friends by the end. Everyone needs to try this place - then post about it on your so you can get some complimentary cream puffs 😊
The new owners have done a wonderful job in the renovation of the space. It feels clean and still contains the comfortable design.

The food somehow got even better as well! Large portions and reasonable pricing, including lunch specials. The owners are very nice too.

My favorite dish is definitely the Beef Spareribs.

If you went here before the renovation, definitely visit and try it again!
The food is amazing so flavorful and home cooked tasting, I never get sick of it and the interior of the store is very cute, old school vibe :) I love getting the kimbap or hot stone bibimbap (for that crispy rice yum) for myself and then army stew or kimchi pancake with friends :) I need to try other menus but I always just get my favorites
