I had travelled to Eugene for work and was craving for Indian food .I had ordered Chole (Chickpeas gravy ) and Bature (Bread ) and Chai .(Indian tea) Both were yummy and portion was fine for the price . I felt like eating home .it was served with homemade pickle and salad .Location wise it close to Oregon university .I would definitely recommend it and visit again !

Food was stale and smelly. Everything was pre made. Literally Burnt Aalu paratha was almost 2 inches thick with sour and lace. potatoes. Yogurt was sour as hell. Sitting area was full of trash (dirt, leaves, smelly water and papers).

Every time I'm feeling sad about being a cog in the capitalistic machine I go get lunch here and I feel a little better. Thanks for being so friendly and making delicious Indian food at affordable price :)Vegetarian options: Half the entree options are veggie and half are meat. I'm not sure about vegan options, though.
I can't say anything about the service or ambiance because it was an online order, but I will say that the vada pav was a spicy and nice surprise, and the chicken tikka masala was delicious, rich, spicy, and creamy (not watery). I will come back to review the desserts. When I have seen vada pav, it's been more snack size, not sandwich size, so that was a surprise. Hard to find otherwise around here. The jalebi could be considered India's take on the funnel cake-oily, delicious, and best eaten warm (I was tired when I was working through these foods, and battling some tummy indigestion to boot, but that was my issue, not the food's fault.) Gulab jamun are bread balls that have been deep fried and tossed in a sweet syrup. Not bad! The kaju katli is quite an interesting dessert-nutty, savory, sweet. It's hard for me to put my finger on it. Not sure if I would have it again. But not bad. The barfi is milky, with spices. I think I like barfi better than kaju katli. Both desserts aren't bad-it's more of a matter of preference. It's nice to branch out and try something different for a change!
The Sardarni's Kitchen food truck is conveniently located right out the side door of the Monkey's Paw tiki bar. So while you're enjoying your South Pacific tiki escape, remember that South Asia's land of mystery, India, is just steps away! I had the Veggie Pakora which was a just right savory snack (chaat) to accompany tiki drinks. Pakoras are savory little fritters made from various veggies, traditionally dipped in a chickpea/gram flour batter, then deep fried and served with a chutney sauce for dipping. Sardarni's pakoras were very good. They were lightly crispy (I personally prefer them to be just a bit more crispy) on the outside with a well seasoned filling of veggies. The tangy and slightly spicy Chaat masala makes these little fritters addicting...you won't stop until you're staring down at the harsh reality of an empty container. But don't fret for fritters... Sardarni's will make more! That's not a "Naan" Sequitur!

Their Mango Lassi is the best it’s the only place in town that I can find that does it ☺️ Comfort authentic food the best around for
Very tasty! We had lamb curry, butter chicken, chili paneer, and mango lassi. All of it was very tasty! Portions were very filling and generous, and the service was great!

Bit of a long wait but then i figured out why. The food is AMAZING. The meat was so tender & juicy. Absolutely delicious.

Would be 5 stars if it weren’t for the fact that the quality of the meat is very inconsistent. Last time we ate here the chicken tasted like it was 4 days old and dry. This was at 5pm on a Friday so you would think they would have fresh chicken for the weekend dinner rush. Not worth the $17/entree when 50% of the time the meat is borderline inedible.Edit to answer the owner's question: The dish I've experienced this problem with the last couple times I ordered it is the butter chicken
