If you enjoy Tiki, then you won’t be disappointed. The bartenders are friendly and quick. They play great music. Their drinks are quite reasonably priced. There is a good selection of food trucks parked outside that will bring your order into the bar when it’s ready. I don’t think there’s any downside to this place.

James has the patience of a saint. I called in to complain about a mistaken charge and it turns out I was wrong about it but he was so genuinely helpful and kind about it. He wanted to help me get to the bottom of it. I will be embarrassed in my own mind for years to come for complaining about nothing, but thank you for being so gracious, James!Since I’m writing a review I’ll go ahead and add some more although I’ve only been here twice. The vibe is unique! It’s definitely a place you want to try! Pool tables and a little stage, great drink selection, food trucks on the side, and a restaurant next door you can order from.Your eyes will adjust!

With the late November temps dropping and a forecast for ice fog, you might think you'd need to take a trip to the South Pacific to change your "latitude" in Springfield...but you'd be wrong.The Monkey's Paw is the reason why. And like any Tiki Bar worth its salt, when you walk through the door you'll be transported to a tropical, dimly lit, mysterious place with dangerous sounding drinks like The Monkey's Paw (this Tiki bar's namesake), Sidewinder's Fang and the Scorpion Bowl. And like any legit Tiki bar, the drinks are strong, shaken into existence with a blend of fervor and Kahuna sorcery. After one of these drinks, you'll be so convinced you're in some tropical place you might just expect a coconut to fall on your head.Mele Kalikimaka!

We stopped in to check out the place and have a cocktail. I had the most unusual curry based cocktail and it was marvelous! My wife had a daiquiri that she enjoyed. Didn't get to stay long but will definitely be back. The bar tender mentioned that there was going to be some surf music played later on. The atmosphere is definitely tiki but lacking in the overall because of the size of the space and the number of items it would take to fill it. Definitely will be back when travelling to Eugene.

I've been here so many times. Walking through the door is like entering another dimension. It's packed full of quirky memorabilia, a tv fish tank, and old movies playing. They also host the best Halloween party in the county!
Fun spot in Springfield to have a drink. A bit of a Jack Sparrow vibe with old reggae classics. A lot of creative drink options if you like rum.. I had an Old Fashioned that was pretty good.

This bar is awesome. The vibes are immaculate inside, the only thing that should be changed is the SMELL. It smells like they haven’t dusted in 50 years. I walked in and actually had to plug my nose it was so bad, its not stinky its just a musty dusty smell from the netting and decorations they have hung up. Other than that its honestly a really cool bar and has great drinks!

An absolutely gem in downtown Springfield. The drinks are amazing and the food carts are all delicious and well priced. The staff is friendly and the decor is perfect - my favorite is the tv fish tank with glow fish inside. A must visit if you’re in the area.
