A friend and I had dinner at the Wooden Nickel yesterday and it was great. Our server was Veronica and she was fantastic, even when I spilled my lemonade all over the table.
I had the three-piece fried chicken with sweet potato fries, and it was enough to take it home and have two more meals. My friend got a huge chicken salad and she could barely eat half and took the rest home.
Thanks for the good food, generous portions, and nice people.
Great experience, server was Kayla. The shrimp sautéed was so delicious, hot bread, fresh salad. Picture in comments!!
Been going here a few years. Last year or so, food quality seems to be going down: Dried out ribs, potato skins have barely any toppings, and prices going way up. We mostly just go for an appetizer & drinks now.
