My wife and I had breakfast on November 3, 2024, about 7:30 in the morning. It was so cold in the restaurant, and we had to wear a coat as well as all the employees. The real problem was when we were served our breakfast both of our meals were lukewarm. We brought this to our waitress attention. The owner/manager came to our table to apologized and gave us a 20% discount which we thanked her for talking to us about. We were staying at Sunriver for our vacation, but we decided to go elsewhere for our breakfast the next day. We decided to go back on November 5th to try again for breakfast at about 8ish. Well, that was a mistake. This time the food was hot which is what I would have expected being the only two people in the restaurant. There were 4 waitresses on duty this morning. We were served our food in a timely manner. The problem arose when no one checked on us to see if our food was good, no one filled my glass of water, as I drink a lot of water. I had to finally go up to the counter to interrupt the nonstop babblings of employees amongst each other to request more coffee which was overly delayed in receiving. Our bill was $63, and we were so upset at the way we were treated we'll probably not go back on our next vacation to Sunriver. So, thank you staff for a $63 lousy experience.

Had 2 great experiences here however the last time we came the food was not great the maple syrup was cold and the French toast was not good. Service was ok. Stick with the Benedict’s if your going here for breakfast.

Steak and eggs was delicious and the wife enjoyed the steak Benedict. Vanilla lattes were perfect.

This place is always solid, gets busy after 8 though, especially on the weekends. Kids hot chocolate is awesome, they love it. Staff is always friendly even when they are super busy. Everyone we bring here loves whatever they get, one of the many reasons we love Sunriver!

Parking: More around back.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, they have a fun hot chocolate!

Service was great, the food was just too bland for my taste but was prepared well enough. I'd give it another shot with a different order perhaps.

I'm being kind with my rating and remarks....perhaps a bad day during labor day weekend '24, I don't know. We had a great experience at Cafe Sintra about 19 months ago. So, when we were out there this weekend, my boys and I wanted to stop by for breakfast again. Unfortunately, it was a subpar experience with food and service. We spent $70 for 2 orders of 2 pancakes (only) and 1 scrambled eggs with linguiça and fried potatoes. 2 pancakes were $13. Whipped cream was another $1.50, strawberries were another $1. My fried potatoes were hard (not fully cooked) and the pancakes tasted like baking soda. The scrambled eggs with linguiça were mixed together in a "glop" of cilantro and other ingredients. Last time the linguiça was a separate link. The waitress only came by to drop the check on us...I asked how about a refill on the coffee that had been empty of 20 minutes? Disappointed this time for $70!! We thought we'd been better off at the coffee shop for 1/3 or less the price. I called out the waitress on this. She said the regular cook was off???

Cafe Sintra was cute and a great location. However, it was really disappointing. We had underdone food, incorrect orders, and coffee that was lackluster. These things could be overlooked as we had good service. But, at this price point we expected more.

Good food I had the Sintra sandwich and it was delicious. Nice thick cut bacon and plenty of egg and cheese. My kids had the French toast and it was a hit.
