Dani was amazing! We had our two young kids with us and she took such great care of us. We loved that there were binoculars at the table - they completely kept the kids entertained!

This is our first time at Sunriver and it has been amazing from the start. This morning we had the pleasure of eating at the Lodge Kitchen for Breakfast and everything was amazing. This was the best Breakfast by far, the N44 Brisket Stuffed Hashbrown was teneder and full of flavor, it paired great with my rum Bloody Mary. Irenee was the best waitress we have ever had and was extremely helpful with getting us info of the area to make sure we had a great time. I can't wait to come back again.

We were greeted by sullen teenagers at the podium and taken to our table with a view of the mountains and a view into the kitchen behind. We ordered a beet salad to share, a beer, a cocktail and two pasta entrees. The Paloma cocktail ($18) was poorly balanced. The beet salad ($20) was bland and unseasoned. Marjoram, citrus, hazelnuts, and Royale dressing were nowhere to be found.
Thirty minutes after the salad plate was taken away we were still waiting for dinner and our attention turned from the sunset to the kitchen to see what could be wrong. The kitchen staff were sampling food, mopping their forehead with soggy napkins in their apron, and then grabbing seasonings to toss into the dishes. No hairnets or gloves seen.
One hour and 6 minutes after we were seated the pasta arrived. We had to have it packed up to go without taking a bite so that we could attend the Observatory show. Never has $78 of noodles looked more pathetic.
No apology from the waiter on the kitchen delays. No indication of concern that the plates went untouched.
I've been bringing friends and family here for over 10 years and this is now off the list. So disappointing. This is not hospitality.

Beautiful view. Ordered at 12:00 and were served (appetizer and dinner at the same time) at 1:10. Food was meh. Servers were great. Venue is very nice.
They use the brunch menu until 1:00. I had the breakfast burger. The meat was great ( try to find bad meat in Bend). The bun a bit much and a bit dry. My wife had the quiche which was burnt and dry.

Iāll save the positive for the end. Recently splurged on Thanksgiving dinner during our annual family trip. We were so looking forward to this meal and could not have imagined how terrible it would be. Two guests had the prime rib, two had the turkey dinner. The prime was at least palatable but still disappointing, the cuts of meat were thin, fat not rendered, grisly. The turkey meal was shockingly terrible, the āwhippedā sides of sweet potatoes and Brussels were literally liquid soup on our plates. The turkey roulade were two tiny rolls of turkey with a minuscule bite of cornbread stuffing in the center. Had these meals tasted good and been well executed we would have been thrilled, even with the very small portions. A few days after that dinner we decided to give the restaurant another try for breakfast, again, over priced disappointment. Not one of us finished any bit of it. My steak was again a griddled fatty mess, the kids did not eat their pancakes or sausage (typical favorites). May son in law ate about half of his burger, unheard of. We usually prepare our own meals or have a nice meal in Bend when we stay in Sunriver. We will never eat at the lodge again, over $600 on two meals that were absolute waste. We also had crayons and garbage underneath our table. On the positive side, service for dinner was fair though it took three hours. The waitress was kind. I never got a second drink though my first was empty in the 30min. Service for breakfast was good, the waitress was attentive and very kind.

Amazing food, Rhonda was our favorite waitress. Mostly ate breakfast and the stuffed hash was so good. Ate supper there once too and it was quite pricey but very good
My mom and I had Easter Brunch at the Lodge Kitchen and the food was fantastic! Nothing was ever out of stock and our waitress, Myline W., was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.
Exceptional service for my beer that I felt compelled to order because the kitchen determines what gets to go as to-go. So I literally had to occupy a 4 top and waste a wonderful waitresses time to order a steak a salmon to take back to my room.(a 2 minute drive) and to be clear itās not a customer always right situation. That could be a common rule with exceptions for guests staying on site. Seems like a forced room service fee to me. š¤Ø
But full story.. killer food!
We recently visited this restaurant and were quite disappointed. The prices are high, but the portions are small and donāt justify the cost. The $46 roasted chicken dish was basic in flavor, with only two small pieces of chicken and a few bites of vegetables. While the vegetables were tasty, the chicken didnāt stand out, and it felt like a very underwhelming dish for the price.
The $64 steak, while very good in quality and flavor, was way overpriced, especially since it came with no sidesāno salad, vegetables, or bread. If it had been paired with something like the vegetables from the chicken dish, it might have been a bit more reasonable.
The view was beautiful, but thatās where the positives end. The cleanliness was lacking; the booths and window sills were dusty, and there were food splatters visible throughout the restaurant. Weāve eaten here in the past and enjoyed it, but after this experience, we wonāt be returning anytime soon. The food and value have definitely declined.
