Goody’s in Sunriver is a must-visit! We stopped in and had such a great experience. The ice cream was delicious with so many flavors to choose from, and the servings were very generous. The chocolates and candy are also worth trying—everything tasted fresh and made with care.
The staff was super friendly and patient while we looked around, which made the visit even better. The shop itself is clean, welcoming, and has that classic Sunriver charm. Prices are a little on the higher side, but the quality and experience make it well worth it.
Whether you’re looking for a sweet treat after the pool, a fun stop while walking through the village, or something special to take home, Goody’s is a perfect choice. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Sunriver!
A popular spot that often has long lines. The ice cream, particularly the vanilla bean, was slightly too frozen and less sweet than expected. The staff, composed mostly of young team members, appeared diligent and hardworking
Such good ice cream
Normally this place has long lines going out the door during popular times, so expect waiting time. Ice cream is great and more than a dozen choices, but it is on the expensive side. The people behind the counter work they're rear- ends off and seem very customer caring.
Nice place with decent ice cream.
I've gone here since 1992 - love this place
Super long lines with spendy prices! Worth it tho
Best ice cream
This ice cream is always the highlight to my day! Me and my family have been guilty of coming 7 nights in a row 😁
We ordered four ice creams, they made two wrong . My wife and daughter took one bite and knew something was wrong. They went back up and basically said our mistake but you are stuck with it. They both threw away their ice cream after just one bite. Customer service was awful. They kept yelling at customers to shut the door with the line going out the door

Super crowded and hard to read what items they had to sell due to everything is behind a case. Waffle cone is C-. PB Fudge was excellent. Icecream itself was good. I'd visit again.
Extremely overpriced. A shirley temple (sprite with grenadine and a few cherries) is 5.50. Which would be decent if it wasn’t around 8-12 ounces of liquid
I have to give at least two stars due to prior experiences here, and the ice cream is good in my opinion. It's expensive, but what isn't nowadays?
However, having worked in high-volume food service and management positions, I have to wonder what is going on here.
I came in with my family to a full lobby. About 10 or so people in line, with around 20 in lobby. Something like 6-7 employees behind line. Our order was a single scoop in a cup, and 3 milkshakes.
I am not exaggerating when I say that the entirety of the lobby in front of us, as well as people who walked in behind us, were out of the store with their ice cream by the time we received one shake.
It wasn't just that the employee that took our ticket was slow - he was likely in training, and I can forgive and understand that. What I cannot understand however, is the complete lack of assistance ANY of the other employees offered this kid, even the manager, until after we said something.
I haven't worked anywhere where one person is given a ticket and expected to fill out the entire ticket. I cannot fathom that employees at this store seem to not be stationed at specific line positions for their entire shift.
I can see that employee turnover is high, and perhaps this is simply the nature of the town. But there seems to be something falling apart on a deeper level with the way the line is operating, and the attitude of the employees behind the counter.
We were in there today maybe tenth in line of twenty, ordered three milkshakes and cup of ice cream, they finished everyone's orders in front of us and behind us and some that came in after. After about twenty minutes we had one of the shakes at this time one person was making our order and three standing round. I finally asked if someone could help him with order, ten minutes later the last shake came up. We are local residents and been in there three times or so in the last month, but this was the last time
I placed my order for 2- sml cones, 2-cup, 2- shakes at 2:29pm. Finally at 2:56 pm we got our orderly. What upsets me is the manor the tickets were taken to fulfill. My was in a cluster of 3- and the bottom (after mine) were taken first.
Only one server, then 20 minutes later, 4 additional servers appeared.🙁
They didn’t assist the guy with my order, they took new orders 😡. 25 orders went out before I finally got my order. You need better training and staffing.😡
