I wasn't a super fan of my ice cream. It's is quite expensive and the wait time felt like 20 minutes. There was a lot of ppl waiting and only 2 ppl working. For the wait w no tasty ice cream. I won't be going back.

Very good quality ice cream, the sizes are also very generous. Would give 10/5 if I could :)

Im sure the ice cream is great but they never gave it to me. My family and I ordered separately but at the same time, and even after they got reminded after about a half hour, they kept working on other peoples orders. Also the shorter lady there was physically pushing her coworkers around seemed like a nightmare to work with. I felt bad for the workers. Better luck next time :/

Wow they need a better system ordered and waited for over 30 minutes then asked about the order and was told it will be made soon the shorter worker was very aggressive with everyone. After waiting another 10 minutes and seeing multiple orders being filled and mine ignored we left. Would not recommend this establishment terrible customer service.

Great ice cream! I love the Marionberry and the strawberry cheesecake. The waffle cones are delicious too! The only downside is the wait times can be crazy long at times. But the ice cream is worth it!

On a very cold night still had delicious ice cream.

Ice cream was especially good!

Disappointed to see after all these years the amount of “goodies” in the ice cream continuing to shrink and the prices continuing to rise. Charging $8 for a cookies n cream waffle cone and barely having any cookie is very disappointing. Not the first time either, last couple years the quality of ice cream is clearly declining. Have been visiting the sunriver store for 30 years. Getting harder and harder to pay the prices and support this practice. We enjoy the family tradition side of this, but ice cream quality/standards has clearly fell off. Very disappointing.

So sad, used to be the most amazing place growing up. Now they took our the barstools, ice cream is cheap. It used to be magical!

Really disappointing to come at noon on a holiday weekend and be told they are all out of waffle cones and bowls. All while you could see the girl in the window making them had a big stack ready? Poor forecasting to not have enough cones/bowls to make it halfway through the day... Ice cream was meh. Peanut butter cup ice cream was just vanilla ice cream with peanut butter cups sprinkled on top which I would consider vanilla ice cream with a topping not a unique ice cream flavor. Used to come here all the time as a kid and it is nothing like I remember it being. I missed when they weren't so many toys for sale in the store and more room for seating inside instead.

Nothing like it was when I was a kid. Seems like there is little effort put into the flow of the store and what they offer as a selection. Disappointed at best.

Yummy, I love ice cream, though I can't always have it. Makes it great that they have a sorbet option. Popcorn is amazing! Clean place, outside seating, and great customer service. There is a lot there to try, I will definitely be back !

UPDATE 8/19:

I originally updated this review on 8/1 after trying to reach out to Mark but not getting any response. Within an hour of my update, he emailed me to let me know he had missed my email in spam, and he immediately offered time to talk over the phone. He was incredibly pleasant and listened to everything I had to say without dismissal or judgment. He shared a lot of what it's been like behind the curtains at Goody's this year and allayed any concerns I had before, and I can absolutely say he "made it right" and that I'll be back. I've updated this review to have four stars (from its original three) because of that and will give a separate, more complete review once we return.

ORIGINAL REVIEW 6/29:

It makes me sad to only give Goody's three stars as it was always a favorite part of Sunriver growing up, and even my own kids have enjoyed it when we've gone recently. However, our visits in June had a notable decrease in general feeling and quality compared to visits prior to April.

Portion sizes are still significant, and the general look has remained constant for the last decade at least, but other things have changed for the worse. Until recently, Goody's made fresh caramel corn in house, but the caramel corn machine now sits abandoned on the countertop and slightly stale corn is sold in shipped from the factory. Ice cream flavors are also notably less rich than they were until a few months ago, though whether that was a fluke the several days we visited in June or whether it was intentional cost-cutting is unclear. Employees also managed to mess up two of our five orders (partially swapping mix-ins between two shakes), and the three shakes we ordered took about ten minutes to make despite ice cream cones being churned out constantly.

Other, subjective changes haven't been for the best in my opinion, but I understand why others may prefer them. The most notable is the change of employee uniform. Green shirts with a simple logo is certainly more contemporary but the older uniforms played better into the candy shop aesthetic.

I really, really wanted to like this more, and I know I have as recently as March of this year. I was worried when ownership changed hands, as that rarely leads to improvement, and I hope that our experiences were an anomaly rather than a sign of things to come. It's still early, so time will tell. At present, though, I wouldn't recommend Goody's over other options in Sunriver or in Bend.

Delicious ice cream after a long day at the water park. Prices are decent for Sunriver, but the waffle cones are worth the splurge.
