Hot Lava Empanadas is hands down one of the best food trucks around! Every empanada I’ve tried has been amazing, but the Tomato, Basil & Cheese is my all-time favorite! It’s like a bite of comfort food heaven.
You can tell they use fresh ingredients and actually care about the food they’re serving. The staff is always super friendly, and everything comes out hot and fast. If you spot this truck, don’t pass it up. Trust me, it’s worth the stop!

Me and my husband have been to Hot Lava Empanadas food cart a ton of times, we love it! It’s a great option just outside of Sunriver for delicious empanadas and a beer from Sunriver Brewing. My favorite empanada is the creamy cheese and chicken. So good!

We were in Sunriver over my daughter’s golden birthday. We pre-ordered a cake for her and they made the process so easy to tailor it to her taste, ensured we got the right size since we were visiting from out of state, made sure it was ready for our decoration/candles, and pickup was a breeze. The bakery is adorable, filled with amazing treats (we couldn’t pass on their incredible donuts for breakfast the next day), and the service was excellent. Highly recommended!
