My friends and I were celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Breakfast Club movie release. We went to the Village Bar & Grill, which was prepared for our rowdy energy. We had rented a room at the Sunriver, so we could enjoy a few cocktails. The place was jam-packed, so we shared a long table at the bar. Our server, Nathan Thunderhawk, was excellent. He moved swiftly through the busy room and provided us with attentive service (like a gazelle). We started with two margaritas, which were sizable! We decided to try the fish tacos, which were light and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of sauce to add spice but not kill off the herbs and cilantro. The Santa Fe Shrimp salad was topped with massive blackened jumbo shrimp (a serious-sized crustacean there was no little amphipod pink shrimp), and the avocado was thin sliced and tender. We were going for the full fish fiasco and ordered the Alaskan Fish and Chips. What I appreciated most was that everything that had been fried was golden and NOT greasy. It was evident that they kept their oil clean. Although we did not realize it was the start of spring break, thus why it was so congested, our food arrived hot and flawless despite the restaurant being so crowded. I cannot say enough about our server. Although it was bar and grill food, we received an extremely high level of customer care and quality service.

Food was pretty good. Overpriced but expected in Sunriver. What really hurt was the service. We walked in and waited a couple of minutes before we even saw an employee. Then, they completely ignored that we were standing there. He literally walked away from the host stand without saying a thing. The next guy that came by about a minute later seemed bothered to ask what he could help us with. Uhm. Seriously? Nevertheless we were finally sat at a table. We put that off in hopes our server would be better. But no, as soon as we ordered waters around her attitude changed. We asked for pepper because there wasn’t any at the table we were at. I never got the pepper. We got a burger with no sauce on it at all. The food was gone before she came back to check on us and that’s when we got to ask for more water. Now of course, you’re probably wondering if it was busy. No. 4 empty tables in this area alone. The energy in this facility is not inviting by anyone of the employees. Looking for a decent plate of food without of the box options, give it a try, just don’t expect any customer service.Also, I’m able to complete this whole rating while waiting for my lemonade to go…

If I could give zero stars for service I would. Our server was extremely disrespectful, did not answer half of our questions and walked away multiple times when we were trying to talk to her. I would recommend going out of your way for another restaurant.

Absolutely top notch food.. never had a meal I didn't Absolutely love and I've been here multiple time.. definitely a top 2 place to eat in sunriver if not the best.. hot honey sandwich delicious, the shrimp delicious, the aged Bravette steak delicious. The burgers delicious.. the mixed drinks delicious...take my word for it when I say you definitely need to eat here when you come to sunriver

This is my 2nd time here, I love the wings! I'm not sure you can find chicken wings this good anywhere south of Bend. Employees are all super friendly and the atmosphere is textbook mountain town vibes as well as extremely clean! I hear they serve prime rib once a month and it's suppose to be exceptional, I'll post again once I try it! 10/10 would recommend
