Van & team were nice & provided great service tonight. We were placed in the bright dining room & they sat a large group next to us so it got loud unfortunately. View was excellent. Spacing was great. Salad & drink were great. Ranch tasted watered down & bent towards dill. The spicy orange dressing was good but not spicy. They just need to remove the pretzel sticks from the menu - they aren't sticks, don't taste like pretzels, & the beer cheese was bland. We did not care for the onion soup; I recommend they use a new recipe going forward...

My boyfriend and I went there and our food came out cold and it was very underwhelming for the price. Our waiter was quite awkward and not very attentive. The restaurant is nice but it is very overrated for what you get.

I dined solo at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. Crystal took great care of me and I appreciated her guidance on the menu. While I didn't get one she was making some really cool looking craft cocktails (next time). I started with the French Onion soup which was well seasoned, tasty and perfect for a chilly evening. The Bison burger was cooked perfectly and the waffle fries were so good I kept eating them (I really needed to stop). I learned that every Friday there is music and it was a nice backdrop creating a really nice evening.

My wife and I live locally and we are constantly looking for good date spots. We come to the Lake House every couple of months and it never disappoints. The staff are always friendly and willing to offer sound advice on the menu. The menu changes enough with favorites coming and going that it leaves something to be excited about when you visit. The food is very good. We came over the summer with a large group (reservation is a must) and the restaurant was slammed. They were still on point bringing us our food in a timely manner and it being prepared properly. The restaurant was filled with large family groups like ours, and anyone who has worked in a restaurant knows how hard that can be to do right, the Lake House did it right.

The evening was very enjoyable. Food was exceptional and service top-notch. Crystal and the entire team was very welcoming and attentive. Chef Krista offers a wide variety of menu choices all delicious! We enjoyed the steak frites and salmon entree while overlooking the lake with a peek-a-boo view of Mt. Bachelor. We had such a wonderful dinner at The Lake House in Sunriver! The atmosphere is cozy yet elevated, with a beautiful view that makes the whole evening feel special. Our server, Crystal, was absolutely fantastic — so warm, attentive, and personable. She really made our night feel cared for.
We ordered the salmon and the steak, and both were cooked perfectly — flavorful, tender, and beautifully presented. The balance of freshness and seasoning was spot-on, and it truly felt like the kind of meal you remember long after.
Highly recommend The Lake House if you’re looking for a memorable dining experience in Sunriver. Ask for Crystal if you can — she’s the best!

Nice atmosphere/view. Friendly staff. Kid friendly. Food was 50/50, some dishes better (salmon/veg pasta) and others lackluster (beet salad/drinks). It took a very long time between starter and entrees, another table arriving after us were served the same dish before us. Overall— I don’t think the value is present so I wouldn’t recommend it to a friend or return.
