“I forget about this hidden gem in Talent! My friend and I had a fabulous meal on a busy Friday night. The dining room was packed! I had the NY strip with mashed potatoes and veggies and my friend had the beef stroganoff! They were both very good. Dinner came with soup, salad and a muffin. The dressings are AMAZING!!! My advice, try all 3, there is plenty of salad to try them all. Lastly, DESSERT! The chocolate mouse with the caramel topping is ridiculously good, so good I ordered 2 for myself. I’ve eaten at this restaurant multiple times over the years and I’m never disappointed with the quality of the food and the service is top notch.“

“A very popular spot and for good reason, the food was great. I absolutely loved the chicken fried steak. The service we had was unique, they are fast and friendly but they tended to be kind of short i imagine it was because they were busy. Highly recomend this spot if you are passing thru!“

“We enjoy reserving a table in the bar area since it's a bit less formal and lends itself to meeting locals and visitors. We're not sure if we've missed it in the past or if it's new, but there's a happy hour food menu that's absolutely wonderful and inexpensive. The pork belly sliders and fish tacos were a hit! Of course, the cocktails are always expertly crafted and the service was warm and efficient.“

“This is some of the better foods in the area. The pancakes are huge, so bring your appetite. My main area of disappointment was service. They didn't refill our drinks, they didn't bring straws, when they come to your table ... they don't ask if you need anything else before leaving (which ultimately makes more work for them, because then they keep running back and forth between all the tables. They are nice, but just poor flow of service. Also, the pancakes 🥞 kind of came out a little cooler and not warm. They only give one syrup container per table ( we had bigger group) which only makes your pancakes colder waiting for the 1 syrup container to get passed around the table“

This is the real deal with a great selection of ingredients for Mediterranean cooking as well. You can buy Pomegranate MOlasses! among other things, but the real reason to go is the food. I had been craving a Gyros for months and hadn't found a really good one in Oregon before I went back to Ashland this week and could revisit Xerces... they are still delicious. My wrap was so good, really fresh lettuce/cuke/onion, excellent sauce, perfect gyros meat, and a nice fresh Pita. Yum!“

“The romantic ambience for our wedding anniversary celebration was nice, and we also appreciated that we didn't have to dress up to attend. The staff were kind, professional and friendly. It did take a while to get our entrees, but the appetizers were quickly delivered. Dessert is a separate menu that comes out later unless requested sooner. Portion sizes were reasonable for an upscale dining experience. The food was delicious and creative; we are thankful to have a restaurant like this nearby!“

“We really enjoyed meeting up with local family and our SOU student here for dinner. The chopped salad was a hit, as well as the tuna melt and pulled pork sandwich. The highlight for me was the pumpkin curry soup, with depth of flavor and the perfect amount as a starter course. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere warm and inviting. “One of the best restaurants in Ashland hands down! The food was out of this world and had the most wonderful cozy atmosphere. We had the Duck Dumplings and Shrimp Fitters to start, which were divine. The chefs talent and creativity really showed in each dish. My table got the Seafood of the Day, Pork Cheeks, and the Duck Confit for our entrees. Each of us were blown away! We all commented that it’s one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Needless to say we will be back.

“Pretty cool place that is fully sprinkled. We had the cheese curds and pretzel to start. They were both delicious. The cheese curds were crispy but didn't seem over fried. I had the Modern Cowboy with Buffalo. The burger was cooked to perfection and had a good taste. The fries had the perfect crispy outside and soft inside. My wife had the nachos. They were good, but there are better options.“

“Remarkable find. Great atmosphere with a kind attentive staff. My coffee and water were always filled. From the counter I could see and hear the cooks or chefs (explain below) interact as they efficiently and loving prepared amazing dish after dish.

I asked Reba, my server, for any recommendations. She proposed the Egg Sandwich and sold me on it. I ordered that and a pancake to accompany a really good cup of coffee.

As good as she described it, the sandwich was better. Pictured in this review, it’s a spinach and Swiss cheese omelette on an English muffin with tomato. The omelette alone would have been a nice breakfast, but as a sandwich, it surpassed expectations. I was initially reluctant to order and sandwich, looking for a more complete breakfast, but it did not fail to deliver. Accompanied with fruit, it was a filling meal that did not leave me sluggish.

The pancake was light and fluffy and perfectly consistent. I lightly topped with powdered sugar it was a delicious complement and contrast to the breakfast sandwich.

Not sure if they are cooks or chefs. In my mind, a cook prepares good food up to order and is something you’d find on a highway roadside greasy spoon. A chef prepares meals with some refinement. They were the combination of both with a slightly obstructed view of the kitchen revealing their care and diligence as much as their efficiency and consistency.

Brothers’ feels like a perfect combination of both the greasy spoon and French style cafe. It is refined and polite while also being casual and comfortable.

The atmosphere is relaxed and positive as the background conversations and sizzling grill with order calls create an atmosphere one would think is relegated to 90’s movie set.

It embodies the values and openness of Ashland.

“Neighborhood restaurant located in small strip mall. Adequate parking. Staff were warm and welcoming - friendly, neighborhood feel. Good menu with range of entrees - all with excellent pricing. For table of 6, all the entrees were excellent - good taste, good presentation. Family recently moved to the area and this has quickly become one of their go-to restaurants. Will definitely go again when in the area.“

I had the wild Oregon mushroom fettuccine with salmon for dinner and it was very creamy and had great flavor! The salmon was cooked perfectly.
