Julek's Polish Kitchen

Juleks was lost in the Almeda fire that ravaged Talent and Phoenix in September 2020. We loved getting take out from here prior to that. We have small children and so dining in wasn't an option for us (restaurant had a quiet atmosphere that we wanted to respect). If the owner read this, my family loves your food. We hope you reopen one day. Until then, I will dream of those delicious perogis and kielbasa.

I tried Juleks tonight for the first time! I had no idea they were there, as I don't go to talent very often or I wouldve been coming here sooner! From just walking in the place, it smelled so good and I couldn't wait to eat! I ordered a sampler platter with a vegetarian cabbage roll, summer kielbasa, spinach and potato pieirogis, mashed potatoes, fresh vegetables and a delicious soup! Cant forget the fresh bread either! I have become a fan of this place! They use organic, grass fed, great quality ingredients. The restaurant smells like home cooking, comforting! I grew up in northern China, bordering Russia. All we had in the winter time was sauerkraut, potatoes and meat (meat for flavors, we didn’t have money to cook roast or steaks). Cabbage was the most popular ingredient in our cooking. Julek’s kitchen’s sauerkraut reminds me of my childhood! The stews are the best!
