The food is Amazing! Our server was very sweet. Even the cook was super nice. We asked for our dishes mild, and it had just the right amount of kick.
Parking: Parking was a bit of a challenge. If you don't mind walking, it is very much worth it.

Absolutely amazing! First time customers, so we were a bit slow looking through the menu. Chicken curry was to die for! And the Naan was fresh and delicious! We haven't been this excited about a restaurant and the menu items in a long time! Looks Luke we found our new date night spot!

Very good and generous portions. Simple atmosphere but great service.
Absolute disgusting. This place was clean upon arrival. However when we sat down got our drinks the sodas were watered down. We were traveling thru I decided to just drink it. As the appetizer came we noticed before hand many many flies and gnats! Food was a 1 out of 10 ordered our food.. when it came flies were all over our Nan and chicken we ordered. Moving tables did not help. Left without paying. If they have flies and gnats inside the restaurant what is in the back were they cook. I hate leaving bad reviews. I like clean food and clean place to eat. They have plates setting out on tables were flies have landed then your putting your food on. NOPE

Hands down some of the best Indian food. We just moved to the Dalles from Chicago, and it rivals even a lot of the Indian food we had while living there. Fantastic authentic flavors, amazing samosas, aloo Gobi and naan. An absolute must go!

Absolutely delicious Indian food. We just moved from a big city and this has already surpassed our favorites from there. The flavors are all on point and the service is excellent. Thanks Bambas!

A Satisfactory Dining Experience
Upon arrival, we were promptly seated by a courteous and attentive server. Our meal commenced with a complimentary glass of water, a thoughtful gesture.
I opted for the Garlic Naan with Panner Tikka Masala. The naan was exceptionally soft and imbued with a delightful garlic flavor. The Panner Tikka Masala was rich and creamy, with the paneer maintaining a tender texture. The accompanying rice complemented the dish well.
Overall, the meal was enjoyable, and the service was commendable. The restaurant's atmosphere was conducive to a pleasant dining experience.

Excellent Indian food. I have eaten Indian food at some of the best restaurants in London, Hong Kong and elsewhere all around the world…and this is on par with some of the most enjoyable Indian meals. Beautifully seasoned, we got the medium spice level and it had the perfect amount of heat for us. This is a little treasure in The Gorge. Very reasonably priced and real Indian food made fresh. Great service and authentic, quality Indian food. Highly recommend if you enjoy Indian food. We got the Zalfreg Vegetable, Baingan Bharta and Garlic Naan. Excellent vegetarian choices. We are so glad we discovered this restaurant.

Well, let's start with the atmosphere. It is extremely unappealing. The colors are off putting and the furniture is cheap and tacky. It was cold inside. One window has two aircondtioners in the window over a booth. Why would anyone want to sit there and freeze? Moved to another table and same thing the air duct above, by the time it hit us the air was cold. I watched a few orders to go and I can see why.
The bathroom was filthy, there was no toilet paper, when I used the last of it. Each stall was empty. No soap, I had go swipe what was left on the counter. Makes me wonder what they were using in the kitchen. Having to use the bathroom because the food was so harsh. I have traveled around and ate at many places. This would have to be a dive. My friend I just asked him who has traveled Asia extensively, said he would have given them a 3. I replied I just did. Asked if he would return.. he also said no. There supplies are stored next to the bar, in a barage of cardboard boxes. Not a place to take a date.
The chily onion Naan was extremely spicy and it ruined the experience. I can handle spice, but I could not taste the rest of the food as a result. The Kadai lamb in tomato sauce, tasted like Campbell's soup. I remember the taste as a child... as an adult... taste have changed. That's cool if you like that sorta thing. But I really wondered if that is what they are using to cut cost. No offense, it is what it tasted like. We both wondered what the garbage bin would have.. The chunks of meat are too big and very chewy. Meh... I can do better...we ordered medium spice... My insides immediately started to burn ?. I have cured IBS, but this way too much. Yes the portions are way to small for the price. Perhaps get a food truck so you don't have to pay for the cost of the building. It is just not attractive setting anyhow. Went to bed a 10 pm, woke up at 1 am passing the food I just ate. This never happens when I cook at home or at any other restaurant. Tried the leftover cream spinach and cheese curd this morning. Not spicy now. It had to have been the Naan..( perhaps cut back on that item or give fair warning). Just to see what would happen with a few bites. And well my stomach is making all kinds of noise. It is 6 am and I have not slept since I awoke. Wow... will I go back? Mmmmm probably not. Have eaten many spicy dishes, but this has some herbs and spices that are unpleasant. I think the rave about this place is because this town has never had an Indian establishment in it.. and the flavors are different. But covering up meat with a bunch if flavor isn't great when the meat is tough.. Best of luck, you have some improving to do if you want us to come back. I can make better.

I asked for curry Goat and they gave me lamb playing it off for goat. There's an obvious difference in the taste. If you don't have something let me know so I can choose something else instead of let my taste buds water in anticipation for something they're not going to experience.
