Purchased 12 cans of green beans. My Thanksgiving casserole had stems throughout the casserole, some as long as 5 inches. Guests were pulling stems out of their mouths. I purchased cottage cheese 3 days ago and it was sour. Worms in the produce also (celery. I'm not sure what's up with Safeway lately but I don't want to shop there anymore.

Pharmacy: Safeway website clearly says walk-ins welcome (shots). Showed up today as I finally had an opportunity to get my shots. Turned away. They could have easily hooked me up, but the associate (who couldn't look away from her computer to talk to me) said I had to schedule an appt for a shot (despite what the website says). If they ever answered their phone, I would not have wasted my time.

Here I am a Washington resident, visiting Oregon and stopped at the Dalles Safeway for gas. Half the pumps are closed, I picked one that would work for me to pull the hose onto the opposite side of may car, no problem. Then a older female employee with long blonde hair yelled at me for doing this, she then went inside and paused the pump. I couldn't cancel the transaction or continue to pump, I was fine with leaving but only after the transaction was closed out. I had to enter the gas station stand where the Employee Hunter told me I was a piece of sh!t and finally canceled the order. What a horrible place to stop into while on vacation.

They have a wonderful Cake Decorator. I had a 100 piece cake decorated for a 50th Birthday. It was carrot cake, wonderful flavor & beautifully decorated. Definitely 5 star & reasonable price.

Management is just plain rude! No desire to help anyone, seems they have no clue who's in charge or whats going on. Just pass blame every time. Just sick of it. Terrible customer service. I will gladly try somewhere else. Whole foods, trader joes are thw stores i miss. They had great management who treated their employees with dignity. Makes a difference and it shows. I cant believe this store is open at all with such a high turnover rate.

I'm happy to have several grocery store options in The Dalles. This Safeway has all the normal departments, they always have hot, fresh roasted chicken, baked foods, good produce and veggies. Plus a Starbucks. Great place to stock up on breakfast items, deli meat and bread, snacks, drinks and fruit when I'm staying nearby on long weekends and vacation. Prices same as Safeway in Portland. Staff has always been friendly, some even have gone out of their way to assist me when they were in break, checking prices on items to ensure they rang up correctly with my rewards. So many complaints from others! But they would complain way more if Safeway didn't have a location here. Easy access from I-84. Theu have their own gas station and it's close to the other stores like Petco, Staples, Walgreens and next to the Goodwill shopping area with a drive through Starbucks, Bargain Market and Dollar Store.

always someone around stocking, and being busy..always someone around to ask a question to. clean store, friendly staff and always smiling. tho sometimes the checkers are down to 1 or 2 and you have to self check...still isn't so bad...I don't mind a bit. the gas stations staff is also quick to serve you..some are more friendly than others..but I'm always glad to go to Safeway gas also. I'm familiar with the gas jockeys and love to go to my guys tht know me and my car ..great job all around to Safeway..

I love going to this Safeway. love the floor plan, love everyone that is there to help you find something or help short me pick something off of top shelf. I don't think that Starbucks gets enough credit for what they do. I love all the Baristas there. I can walk in the store and if they even noticed me they get my drinks ready. I pay for my stuff and I go to Starbucks and pick up my drinks. they are wonderful. I have to commend you ladies and Nathan on the job you are doing. I appreciate all of you and Starbucks would not be the same without you ❤?????
