So happy we were told about The Riv on our trip out to The Dalles last weekend. We each had different breakfast plates and all loved them. Owners are sweet/cool and very personable. Enjoyed talking with them a bi

Fresh and beautifully prepared food by young owners eager to please. Located in an old church residing in a residential area, a unique location once found. We had the curry chicken on pita and fresh salad with homemade dressing. Really delicious !

Stopped in for a quick bite while driving through town. Fun building, friendly employees, great food, and reasonably priced. We had the Open Faced Biscuit and Cobb Wild salad - both recommended. Glad we found The Riv.

Beautiful venue for a wedding I attended. The tacos for the wedding were very yummy and this place is beautiful.

Amazing, friendly service & my burnt-cinnamon/cardamom cappuccino (created from flavors made in-house) was phenomenal!!

This beautiful little church was perfect for our last minute brunch plans. It's fairly empty with regards to decor and furniture, but it's nice and simple. We ordered the banana by smoothie, breakfast burrito, and garden bagel. The smoothie was sweet and not very thick, which made it easy for our 1 year old to drink through a straw. My husband was able to alter the breakfast burrito to his liking (black bean patty for bacon), which looked great, while my veggie bagel was perfect. It included lettuce, vegan pesto, tomatoes, peppers, and avocados. Service was great considering that it wasn't too busy around 10:30am. FYI, Their bread was delicious- thick with a crunchy crust.

Stopped in on my way to class for a coffee and breakfast. The owners are great! The coffee is great too. I had a the lemon curd parfait and it was too delicious. I saved half of it for lunch, as it was pretty good size. The shop is self is super cute on the inside and pretty quiet in the mornings as well!

Amazing. Inside and outside seating that's relaxing and comfortable, set in an old church gives it a very cool vibe. The food and coffee is unreal. Best waffles we've ever had. Great service, this place is a win.

Passing through The Dalles on my way home from Walla Walla and was looking for a late lunch. The sandwiches were delicious and smoothie was a good quencher for my sweet tooth. Two thumbs up.

We were camping down the road and wanted a nice latte on this rainy morning. We were delighted to find this great place. Very friendly service and the coffee was excellent. When I said I wanted an 8oz latte the owner said, "I know exactly what you mean; you want to taste the coffee". Also, they have excellent pastries and their lunch selections looked very good.
