The absolute best coffee in town. The food is also top-notch. If you’re looking for a place to read for a few hours on your own or bring a group of friends from out of town for lunch this is it. My kids love it too!

The only downside to Riv Cafe is that we were out-of-town visitors and wish we had a place like this near us. The breakfast was amazing - the most delectable biscuits and mouth-watering gravy, along with friend chicken and waffles and the vegan bagel. The banana nut smoothie was amazing! What a great space.

Skip Hood River. This place is better than anything you'll find there, and you don't have to deal with all the tourists.
Had an amazing coffee and experience at The Riv this morning. The owner stopped us, said hello as he overheard we were in from outta town. He gave us mugs and told us the story behind The Riv. A super memorable experience, and now, every time we are in town, we will stop in. Thanks Noah!

I would give the chicken ten stars if Google would let me! What a cool, funky place, with fabulous food! I had a side salad and a piece of chicken, both were excellent. My husband has the BLT and loved it too! We have to say the strawberry smoothie was pretty bland though. We'll be back next time we are in the area...

I went for a casual lunch. It is counter walk up, then they bring your food to your table. The space was cozy, calm, and nice decorated with mostly tables, but some casual chairs. The food (I got the grilled cheese with bacon and the tomato soup) was delicious and my oatmeal latte was perfect.

Very overpriced for food that wasn't very good. They brought out my husband's food about 15 minutes after mine and the person working was very rude. I will never go back

We had an excellent breakfast with Keto Scramble and Huevos Verdes. The espresso has a slightly strong sour note, but is still very good. Definitely recommended! Even the toilets are worth seeing in this extraordinary location.

This church turned cafe is a cornerstone of the community. It’s a gathering place that can be for work, socializing, or a sanctuary for one. It has indoor and outdoor seating in spaces that are aesthetically pleasing. The staff is attentive and welcoming. There is something on the menu for all! I got several things as this became my go to for the several weeks I was visiting the area. I am thinking about what makes a cafe so lovely: It’s that I get cared for by given tasty things to eat in a space that feels good, surrounded by others who came for something similar (also too: Kombucha and WIFI). It’s a vibe and the Riv has got it good! Thank you!

Neat spot. Arriving at 11:30 am on a Sunday to find many items- biscuits and eggs benedicts- already sold out. Good for the business but sas for me.
