Had the best burger ever !! Thank you John!
Delicious food, but was so very cold in there, all our party was so cold we could not enjoy the food. When we asked them to please turn up the air conditioner, they were snide about not wanting everyone else miserable. We looked and all the people in there were wearing jackets, sweaters, hoodies. People should not have to dress that way in the summer. We will not be back.
Love the employees, Nikki is always friendly

The Last Stop Saloon in The Dalles offers a bar-like atmosphere with the potential for live music. The quality of the food varies, with some finding it subpar, featuring small chicken tenders, while others consider it great, with acceptable burgers but poor ingredients. The prices are reasonable, and the establishment boasts a nice selection of whiskeys and beers. It's a spot for those seeking to enjoy a drink and possibly some live music, rather than a cozy dinner spot for good food and conversation.
The service at the Last Stop Saloon has been a point of concern for some customers. There have been reports of long wait times, with one customer waiting 20-25 minutes to receive their order, despite the restaurant being relatively slow. Another customer noted the lack of utensils provided for a delivery order, making it difficult to eat the food. Additionally, the slow service has been attributed to the bartender also serving as the hostess, managing around 15 tables and the bar.
Despite the service issues, the Last Stop Saloon has received praise for its food quality, with one customer describing the meals as "really good." The atmosphere has also been described as "nice and clean," making it a suitable spot for a mother-son lunch. However, the lack of activities or distractions for children while waiting for their food has been identified as an area for improvement.
