Banning's Restaurant & Pie House

Love this place! Met my husband here over 24 years ago. I visited with a friend and ordered a mimosa, needed to show my ID! What!! I got carded!!

The eggs Benedict was a disappointment.
The poached eggs were not runny and the hollandaise was flavorless and meager. The hashed browns were good and the iced tea was reinforced. I took home a piece of peach pie under vanilla pudding. It looked beautiful but wasn't special. The pudding was probably from a box, but would have benefited with some additional vanilla.

We all enjoyed our meals. Staff great! 1st time Here, we will be back. Cobb Salad, Anniversary Burger, Chicken Fried Steak breakfast, kids grilled cheese and waffle. Sorry we didn't have room for pie.

Bannings is well known for its pies and cobblers! This is one of my favorite places to go for breakfast. Here's a picture of Avocado Benedict and loaded hash browns....delicious!

Amazing food and great prices and portion sizes. The food was flavorful and not too heavy. The pies were just the right amount of sweetness. Definitely one of the best burgers I've had in Portland area.

😆 We have only been in Tigard for a month now and have eaten at Banning's 3 times so far. They have an excellent menu and everything we have tried is excellent. The wait staff are all very friendly and helpful. We have purchased the 5 layer chocolate cake and it is delicious but too much frosting for my taste, I have also had a slice of the strawberry rubbard pie and it is also excellent. I highly recommend the strawberry lemonade as well. The tables on the far side of the restaurant are crowded and not much leg room under the table. We kept having to move our feet to get comfortable.

The food was delicious as always. Service was fast and amazing.

Do you wanna go to a restaurant that appears to b upper scale restaurant for the wealthy but is actually an economic restaurant for the everyday man? This is the restaurant for you! I loved the setting. I love the environment that was the help was great. And it was affordable on the menu.

What can I say about banning's restaurant ? I have never been disappointed, it's always fresh made hot dishes...fantastic cakes and pies and quick service...

Always a treat to dine here. . Great pies. Good food.
