Banning's Restaurant & Pie House

😆 We have only been in Tigard for a month now and have eaten at Banning's 3 times so far. They have an excellent menu and everything we have tried is excellent. The wait staff are all very friendly and helpful. We have purchased the 5 layer chocolate cake and it is delicious but too much frosting for my taste, I have also had a slice of the strawberry rubbard pie and it is also excellent. I highly recommend the strawberry lemonade as well. The tables on the far side of the restaurant are crowded and not much leg room under the table. We kept having to move our feet to get comfortable.

The food was delicious as always. Service was fast and amazing.

Do you wanna go to a restaurant that appears to b upper scale restaurant for the wealthy but is actually an economic restaurant for the everyday man? This is the restaurant for you! I loved the setting. I love the environment that was the help was great. And it was affordable on the menu.

What can I say about banning's restaurant ? I have never been disappointed, it's always fresh made hot dishes...fantastic cakes and pies and quick service...

The place is pretty cramped inside.

The service was, I am guessing, provided by a waitress undergoing perhaps her first day on the job. Her attention to my wife and I, and concern over every little thing, as well as the manner in which she interacted with us, was just overly done. Not unpleasant at Ll, just strangely overdone.

The food was good. The Elvis Pie was a highlight.

Consistently great food and the marionberry poppy seed cake is legendary. They get busy on the weekends but I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes
