I love this place. I've had the best sandwiches of my gluten-free existence here. The combination of fresh toasting with great ingredients and good gluten-free bread makes all the difference, and causes me to be willing to pay $17 for a sandwich only.
That said, the last two visits I have been completely unsatisfied as they have been out of gluten-free bread options. They do have a wrap but it's not nearly as satisfying.
It's understandable that an establishment might run out of something, but so far it's two for two. The last visit, the guy taking my order was oddly rude and never told me they were out but rather just served the wrong sandwich bread. Today, she didn't know when taking my order but someone did come out and give me the option of a refund or a wrap. Since I'm hangry by this point, I have to take the wrap option. Knowing that it won't be satisfying and feel overpriced which is my pet peeve with restaurants...There's no way I would pay $17 for a wrap sandwich under regular circumstance.
So while this might have just been bad luck on my part, I hope that they get their inventory for gluten-free back in control and continue to make amazing sandwiches and contribute to the community.
I feel bad leaving anything but 5/5 for a great community establishment. I'll revise if it's better next time, though I'm far less motivated to return now.
Dietary restrictions: They do have a DELICIOUS gluten free roll but have been out of stock recently.
Parking: There's a lot located behind the restaurant.

Great food but the staff/customer service (or lack there of I should say) is REALLY bad. So bad that I refuse to go back, will not recommend, and am writing negative reviews on as many platforms as possible. Hopefully the owner will choose their business’s success over loyalty to their current employees, as they are doing the business a great disservice. It would be wise to hire new staff!!!

So a bit of shine off the stars I normally give to them. We needed a later dinner (ordered and picked up at about 8:30p). Was disappointed that the bread was a bit stale, sandwich not as good as I normally receive here. Not what I wanted after a very long day.

My daughter bought me my first Beach Hut Deli sandwich while I was helping her open her new store in Bend called Staghorn Mercantile at 916 Wall Street. We put in a few 12 hour days and the sandwiches we got there were very satisfying and well worth the money. My wife and I ate there twice while visiting Bend. I got the Philly Steak and my wife got the Hot Pastrami. The Philly Steak was a massive sandwich, so big in fact, you need to eat this with a knife and fork. I enjoyed this more than some steak dinners I've eaten. So friends, if you want a sandwich with satisfying flavor and nice portions visit Beach Hut Deli you'll walk away happy!
To the manager: I hope you guys get some Red XL tee shirts in when I visit the next time.

Nice little place tucked away in downtown Tigard. Their sandwiches are absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The atmosphere is casual and inviting, and the outdoor patio is the perfect place to enjoy a cold beer or cocktail on a warm day. Don't miss their live music on Friday nights!

Just played @ The Beach Hut Deli as a member of Richie Bean and The Midnight Travelers. We had a great time and were treated great!! And I got a pastrami sandwich and it was phenomenal!! I don’t know what they did but it is and was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! Delicious!! So good!!
Portions are BIG, I got 6 inches skinny dipper (basically a French Dip) and shared with my mom.
My husband had 2 bites left of his 6 inch sandwich.
Our son devoured the kids ham sandwich once I took the veggies off.
Parking: Street parking was easy to find but with young children, I recommend the free 2 hour parking lot behind Beach Hut Deli.

Good sandwiches and salads. Willing to customize your order for what you want. Attendant was super sweet. There are personal tvs at every booth with your own remote so if you want to watch sports while you eat this is a great place to do it.

Beach Hut Deli is an expensive sandwich shop with a cool theme and atmosphere. When eating out, I'm almost positive most people consider portion, taste, and value.
First off, the sandwiches are sizable. Unfortunately, the taste both times I've visited, is just okay. While the selection of chips and drinks is commendable, it's hard to look past the price.
The above said, I struggle to recommend Beach Hut Deli. I understand they are in different cities, but I much prefer Taste Pickler, Devil's Dill, or Beaverton's legendary Sub Station.
