A friend and I met at Choza and decided to stay as we saw their happy hour specials. We first sat in the dining area and ended up moving to the bar as the specials we saw outside were just in the bar. The waitress didn't seem too happy to move us. We ended up moving our own items over and got situated. Our waiters seemed like they were nice, especially once we decided on our orders. My friend is sensitive to gluten and had a few questions. Some of the items he asked about said they were gluten-free on the menu, but the servers told us they were not. This happened a couple of times, and so my friend ended up getting a couple of chicken tacos. I got the street quesadillas and a side of refried beans.Wow, and wow again! Our food was delicious! I like how the quesadillas were made. They were individually wrapped and stuffed with tons of pull able cheese, acocado, and poblano peppers. Everything came together so well, and I loved that it was topped with lettuce, crema, and cojita cheese. Omg! Every bite was amazing, and I loved the price. To wash it all down, I got their berry margarita that was not super sweet and had tons of flavor. One is enough, so keep that in mind!Minus one star for the service as the staff needs to be a little more knowledgeable about the items and that they can not guarantee their drinks or food can be gluten free--even if they say they are. It's okay if they do not know or can not guarantee it.I would come back for another margarita and their street quesadillas. The chips and salsa were fabulous as well. The chips were crispy, and the salsa had a nice kick to it, which made sropping myself from eating more very difficult. I'm so glad there are to go boxes!

This place was a food factory and tasted that way. Boneless chicken breast was rubbery. Our dishes came out far too fast for the food to have been cooked to order. The tables are small and crowded together. It’s super noisy. Jefe is a much better choice for Mexican bistro fare.Vegetarian options: Easy to order dishes without meat.Dietary restrictions: Pretty easy to go gluten-free here.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps, but aisles are a big t narrow.

German was our server and cannot have a single complaint. Very polite and always on top of it. No once did we have to “flag” someone down. Thank you for making the experience great and we felt welcomed.Food was good, I would only ask the sides have a bit more seasoning but could be personal preference.Drinks were on point not a single complaint. Tequila variety is very good, horchata was great and doesn’t appear to be made out of those packets.Overall great place to come and experience a fun atmosphere and good food.

One of the best restaurants in Bridgeport Village. It's a higher-end Mexican place with the regular offerings, though they're a little pricier and fancier here than what you may get elsewhere, fitting with the area it's in. I would highly recommend the fajitas, as they come to you fresh and are well-seasoned. I thought the prices were fair for the quality of the food. The place can get crowded and busy during weekends, but it's not so bad during the weekdays. Service is nice and attentive.Parking: Bridgeport Village is an outdoor mall with a lot of parking. It can be hard to find a place to park that is super close to the restaurant, but you should be able to find something within reasonable walking distance.

Tacos tasted pretty bland. Any taco truck is probably better.

Tonight was my first time ever here, and it was absolutely worth the price. The food was phenomenal, portions are truly vast, the hosts/servers are attentive but not overly so, and if you like loud, lively, convivial dine-in experiences, Choza is for you!Of course, I HIGHLY recommend you get a reservation first as it is always swamped, and lines to wait for a table to open up can be over an hour (we witnessed a few people who had opted to stand and wait for a full hour, in fact.I will admit that the prices are even a little steeper than expected, yet as usual for a Hispanic eatery, the portion sizes are more than worth their pricing in gold. When I say generous, I sincerely mean it. Be prepared to get a to-go box to take out your unfinished leftovers for a well deserved round two!The atmosphere is modernist, VERY boisterous, busy and lively, with loud chatter of conversations all around that echo throughout this rather tiny space. If you are not comfortable with or easily overstimulated/overwhelmed by large crowds, lots of people and tons of chatter, this definitely is not going to be a pleasant or comfortable experience for you. For how much that is, and for the modernist styling (I personally have never been a fan, though let's face it, who cares, you're there for the food), I tacked off a half a star for each to 4 for atmosphere.Parking: Even with a large, three story parking garage, and the usual oceans of parking lots around, it can genuinely be a bit of a drive around to find yourself a spot during the usual rush periods.

I was completely surprised at how good this restaurant was and had not heard that before trying it! Wonderful surprise. And it was reasonably crowded but no problem getting a table, loved the atmosphere and food was excellent and comes out fast??

Overall the restaurant was perfectly decent. The staff was very nice and the atmosphere was inviting. The meal was not memorable. After looking forward to eating Mexican food again after literal years, I found the chile verde to be just fine. I wasn’t wow’ed by the flavors and the color was a much deeper green than I’m used to seeing in chile verde so I assume this is a different recipe from what the chile verde I’ve had at other establishments in the past. It was fine and the presentation was lovely but it didn’t hit the spot like I had hoped.
