It's my favorite food place over the last 3 years or so.
Save your money… taco pastor meal was terrible! To start with you can’t order Pastore tacos individually like the other tacos they sell you have to order it as a meal and the rice and beans you get with it are probably the worst I’ve ever had rice had a terrible aftertaste, and the beans were super bland, the pastor tacos were super tough a pale, disappointing, soggy corn tortilla.
The Carne Asada plate was just as bad. The beef was cut dinner then I’ve ever seen and overcooked to the point that it was pretty much uneditable leather. I Would say it looked like beef jerky, but that would be an insult to beef jerky. The waitress was super nice, that was about it..

We had chile relleno/enchiladas & taco salad, with two beers, this was only $38, best price , best food (and LOTS of it), fantastic service with a smile.

This one of the best places we have ever eaten, and we're in our 60s.
Right from the service, delicious food and super reasonable pricing. And the portions are huge.
We will go out of our way to eat here every trip to Portland VA

First time @El Guajillo and I will definitely be back! Tasty chips and salsa. Enchilades Verdes with shredded beef were absolutely delicious - great flavor with the tomatillo sauce. Margaritas were perfect and came in a frosted glass which made a big difference. Service was amazing. Love the Mexican music playing in the background. Five Star first time experience!
Delicious good food good service
Clean, cheery, restaurant with friendly staff. The food was OK, lacking flavor a bit and the chips were stale that night. Margarita was good/average. The price was right.
Excellent service excellent food! The salsa and warm fresh chips amazing always passed by this place and just stopped by to see if it was any good and we were very impressed!
