We have been meaning to try this place for a while now. We stopped in on Sunday evening. The hospitality was a nice touch. Our waiter, Manny, was so friendly and provided excellent service. The mole enchiladas were delicious! I love the sweet mole sauce - definitely not something you find everywhere. We also were happy to see Mexican pizza and deep friend ice cream on the menu. I am enjoying my leftovers for lunch today and it reminded me that I hadn't written a review that night. I highly recommend and we'll be back!

Delicious and good service! They kept refilling our chips and our food came out quick. My chile relleno was tasty and my husband loved his enchiladas. Great rice and big portions. Thank you!

El Sol de Mexico is our family's favorite restaurant. We were saddened when the store in Tualatin closed. The store in Tigard is a longer drive, but the food is worth the drive. We have always been greeted warmly and feel like family. The food is wonderful and portions are generous. In over 25-years we have never been disappointed in the food or the service.

The chicken in the enchiladas and chimichanga surprised me with how moist and flavorful it was! so good. So much better than many places I've been. The rice tasted fresh. The chorizo burrito was not dried out like it has been at other restaurants. I'm so glad I noticed this place because it doesn't stand out much in the mini mall. The restaurant is clean and everyone is really nice! There is plenty of parking available. Also the chips were delicious. They were fresh! A five-star for the quality of food, taste, service, cleanliness, and price range. Appx $9 - $15 for most dishes.

Incredibly nice staff, super fast chef, food was great but a tad salty. I can't emphasize how nice and fast they were. I'd absolutely go back.

Love this restaurant, however would not recommend nachos delivery. Soggy chips, seemed to have been pre made, frozen and warmed up. Not good. I'll return anyway and I'm sure it will be great.

Friendly staff serving Americanized Mexican dishes to the senior set.

Prices are good for familiar entrees but veer off into expensive territory for steak dishes such as fajitas etc ...

Reliably great Mexican food. Yummy, fresh salsa with warm, delicious chips as soon as you are seated. The staff is so friendly, prompt and professional. They greet us like old friends. Manny is always fun. Try it, you'll love it!
