El Sol de Mexico is our family's favorite restaurant. We were saddened when the store in Tualatin closed. The store in Tigard is a longer drive, but the food is worth the drive. We have always been greeted warmly and feel like family. The food is wonderful and portions are generous. In over 25-years we have never been disappointed in the food or the service.
The chicken in the enchiladas and chimichanga surprised me with how moist and flavorful it was! so good. So much better than many places I've been. The rice tasted fresh. The chorizo burrito was not dried out like it has been at other restaurants. I'm so glad I noticed this place because it doesn't stand out much in the mini mall. Love this restaurant, however would not recommend nachos delivery. Soggy chips, seemed to have been pre made, frozen and warmed up. Not good. I'll return anyway and I'm sure it will be great.
