Ezell's Famous Chicken

The chicken is hand's down the most fantastic friend chicken I have ever had from a chain. My only two gripes are small. Please allow to just have dark meat again at the location in Portland OR. I don't like white meat. And have a few more side options of the non potato variety like salads or something else.

Food was incredibly bland. First thing I said when they brought it out was, “where’s the seasoning on the chicken?”

There was no seasoning on the chicken, not even salt & pepper. Almost tasted like they fried it for too long.

The Mac n cheese was flavorless too.

The fries were crispy, but again, no seasoning.

For three of us it was $60 without tip.

Won’t be back.

SUPER DELICIOUS FRIED CHICKEN WHEN FRESH

A pal of mine insisted we get fried chicken at Ezell’s and said the spicy chicken was DELICIOUS. She suggested we share the two piece with two sides and get gravy on the side. Dude… it was juicy and flavorful with a thick crisp fry.

Wayyyyy better than when I had it years ago at same location.

The sides I’ve had there have never been awesome and the sweet rolls are ass, but I do like the gravy.

So if you had Ezell’s in the past and thought it was shmeh, try it again. The fresh chicken is where it’s at!

I used to live near their original location in Seattle. Tried this location and the quality of food has declined. Still better than some fast food places, but leaves something to be desired

Way back when I was in high school, their first store was across the street from school. That was in Seattle in the 60s, and I am so happy they have expanded to Oregon. Same delicious chicken I remember.

One of our favorite places for fried chicken. They sometimes are cooking a fresh batch causing a wait. Service is exceptional for a fast food restaurant. While waiting for my pickup, I ordered a dessert that they forgot to include in the bag. When I returned to get it, they felt bad and comped me a free second dessert. I did not ask, I did not expect, but they evidently wanted a delighted customer. I was. Both their spicy and regular fried chicken are crisp and low in fat/oil. We like their sides, especially the corn.

It's ok. Reminds me of KFC.

I ordered and paid with the app. That was really easy. Food was ready on time. Restaurant looked nice if I ever wanted to eat there in the future.

Entire building smells like sewage/portapotty. I have no idea what would make it smell so horrible. Food was disgusting as well. I should have walked right back out when the smell first smacked me in the face. Do not recommend.
