I had some excellent clam chowder there in November. Nice sports bar with good drinks.

I wanted to check it out the cheese steak because the website showed it for $13. I thought this was too good to be true. I was right. The price, like most place, are higher. No big dea, just update the website, please. At $15 the size was smaller than other similar bars. It was good but not the best. I'll come back but my expectations are more realistic now.

So dark inside I couldn't read the menu. Slow service and that day both bathrooms were being worked on.

Food was great, service was even better, but the atmosphere is the highlight here. No loud music, bright lights, or gimmickry here. You can sit and have a drink and carry on a conversation without having to shout. How many places can you go to for that these days? Definitely my new regular spot.

Good Irish food (I enjoyed the Irish stew in a bread bowl) and Guinness on tap.

Really enjoyed our server and her ideal of the food. My plate came out quickly. Especially that I order Prime rib and mashed potatoes.

I brought some out of town guests to JB O'Brien and was totally disappointed. I ordered the corned beef sandwich with a cabbage side. The steamed cabbage was put on the plate with sandwich so by the time it got to the table the sandwich was sogging. So I sent it back and got the sandwich and it was filled with the steamed cabbage in the sandwich and the corned beef was tough. I picked the corned beef out of half the sandwich and tried to eat it. It was so tough! And the wait staff didn't offer me a discount or comp at all even though I didn't eat it. So disappointed!

I’ve always wanted to try the food from this bar, so I decided to drop by during happy hour to give it a try. I ordered the cheese steak sliders, and they did not disappoint. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were amazing.

Normally, I would talk about the drinks too, but the food was so impressive that it stole the show. Now I'm eager to explore the rest of their menu.

A quick note on pricing: although some older photos and Google listings show happy hour sliders at $5 or $6, they are currently $7. Despite the slight price increase, the quality and service was really great. Highly recommend!

Cozy place a little dark inside for my liking and busy for a Monday afternoon. Could it be the happy hour. Could be? But no happy hour drinks? I found that a little odd and the happy food and prices weren’t bad I just always associated happy hour with lower drink prices. Okay the food was really good and the service too. Friendly with a big smile. The cheeseburger and fries were very good. The tacquitos were a good portion and the nachos. That’s the deal. Massive player and no shortage of toppings. Can’t wait to go back and try some of their regular menu items.
