What a lovely cafe this is. My husband and I came in for a very late brunch and had a fantastic time. The staff were kind and welcoming and the food was fantastic. Everything was just wonderful. I already can't wait to go back next weekend!

Had a wonderful experience. Every employee was happy, helpful and kind. The owners were present and working right alongside their employees. We need more small businesses that are like this. It definitely helped that the food was great as well.

I am Greg's wife...we both love Luganos and have been going to Luganos since we retired from teaching in 2004!!Parking: Scones and all baked goods are delicious. Love!!Europian Fried Rice is unique and fabulous!! At busy times like 11:00 on Sundays and early on weekday mornings Luganos is very popular!

Came looking for brunch. This is a bland looking cafe inside with about 12-15 tables. It has a quite ordinary menu. I ordered "Two Eggs Any Way" but was told they don't do poached eggs as I requested. I find this a bit scandalous as it is a brunch spot and also the name of the dish is misleading. Food tasted average albeit unmemorable. The bacon was good, and scrambled eggs were fluffy. Also, they do have a few alcohol beverages like mimosas. However the sourdough bread was hard and did not taste freshly baked. One bigger piece of my breakfast potatoes was cold in the center, and they didn't taste crispy. Conclusion: This is like any ordinary cafeteria, the tables are even numbered and they, like the chairs, seemed to be of cheaper construction. I'll bet locals in the area might be regulars but frankly I found this sport unremarkable.

Best scones I've ever had! Get there early or they will be long gone! The blueberry peach is my favorite. Other food is good too but the scones are worth 5 stars.

Staff is friendly; the owner says "hi" and thanked us for stopping by. The coffee is great. As for the food (grilled cheese & tomato soup, blueberry muffin and turkey sandwich), delicious and priced appropriately.

A gem that I enjoy frequently visiting. The staff work dilligently in serving delicious fresh sandwiches, salads, breakfast and fresh pasteries. The lattes are made with love as well. They use my name several times. A delightful gem!

We wanted coffee while we waited for an apt at Providence, and here Lugano is right across the street.Delicious coffee and quiet, relaxing atmosphere, very nice! The barista Calder talked to us about Portland and nearby towns and answered all our questions about moving up here. He's so friendly and welcoming, such a good asset to the cafe. ☆☆☆☆☆

I was looking for a spot to meet a friend and tried this place based upon reviews. I was not disappointed. I just had coffee and a scone, but they were both excellent. I would definitely come back.
