Margarita Factory Tigard

Heard they had great food, and being in the mood for great food, we went to the Gresham branch. Wowza. Their SMALL Margarita is a very healthy serving. She added mango, I added strawberry for $0.50 each. They have a lot of offerings and many are much larger. Chunky guacamole was exactly as advertised and very tasty. Both of us had Fajitas which were served on a sizzling platter. Probably could have shared one, but we like leftovers so that was fine; as there was a LOT of leftovers. Shared a flan dessert, which was super yummy and served with whipped cream. Service was good and very attentive. More chips? Right away. You know how someone always asks "how's it going" just as you take a bite? Gave 'em two thumbs up at least three times. It was not quite too much attention, but close. Atmosphere was clean, modern and pleasant. Menus are VERY extensive and detailed. Exterior signage is quite low key. Guessing that's by careful design. Had we not heard good things, we might not have gone in. Guess that's ok, I think you'll want to tell your friends.

We went into the restaurant on Black Friday. We were sat right away. It took about 10 minutes to get greeted by our server and another 10 to get drinks. The timing didn't bother me and my friend because we work in the industry and now how it is. however, the server was so rude and indifferent. When it started to become 30 minutes and a food order was still not taken We decided to leave. I hadn't even touched my drink and my friend maybe had two sips of hers. I'm not sure if it was a manager or host that ran after us in the parking lot to tell us we had a tab. I said the service was horrible and we had been there for too long with still no food order. We literally watched the table of 4 next to us get their meal and finish it before we walked out. Then the guy looked at the ticket to check the timing to see if it matched my complaint and said "ok ill make the server pay" without even so much an apology. Funny how the minute we decide to leave the server all of sudden became very attentive and available...but only to hunt us down for two drinks we didn't consume after being rude and dismissive the whole course of us being there. How about a servers ourselves we know he doesn't have to pay for those drinks, and how about a sorry and better customer service.

The punchbowl margarita here is .... nothing short of fabulous.

Food, service, atmosphere.. all top notch.

They have a dessert that look like Xerxes throne in the movie 300.

Jimmie was fantastic! Our first time here wasn't the best service, and Jimmie made sure we were well taken care of this time. We needed a mom's night out, and the margaritas were on point, we will be back again, and ask for Jimmie!

My wife and I wanted to try this place. We stood at the front counter for 5 minutes with noone coming to assist us.

The waitresses were on their phones in the corner. The bartender saw us, and continued what he was doing without getting the attention of anyone else.

Absolutely worthless, don't waste your time with this place.

Augustine was amazing! Food was phenomenal. But the cliques between the waiters should be a huge insult to the GM. I had the honor of being placed where the waiters do their business at the computers and it was shameful to hear them talk smack about eachother even withhold tables from waiters who could use it but give them to their friends as the waiter who had too many tables was too busy to handle them effectively. I am glad I got to experience this energy and help shed some light on how things could be handled better.

I would come back over and over again if I couls be guaranteed a waiter like Augistine. As a former food service industry worker myself. If I come in and get any of these highschool behavior waiters. I wont be spending my time or money here.

The food, drinks and atmosphere are on point, but our waiter Jared knocked out of of the park!

I came for lunch and was blown away when I walked in by how beautifully it was decorated. Then, the food was superb and the entire staff were friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be coming back for dinner. Must try the margaritas, of course!

I went there last night, an hour and 30 mins before closing.. we left in plenty of time before they closed. But the whole time my friend and I was there, everyone in the place was staring at us including workers. We just got really bad vibes while being there.

Also the food was okay, but street tacos shouldn’t have flimsy almost raw taco shells, like they didn’t even cook them honestly. I got sick from eating it and ended up throwing up the second I got outside.

I asked where the bathroom was cause I had never been there before and my waitress made me look stupid for asking like sorry? I didn’t wanna pee where I was sitting jeez.

I prefer to go to the happy valley location honestly

I had lunch at this restaurant on October 28th around noon. This was my fourth visit. The meal served to me was one of the worst I have ever gotten from any sit down restaurant. On my last trip I ordered the nachos with steak meat. I really enjoyed the steak. On this visit I explained to the waiter that experience and asked if the soft tacos contained the same steak. He replied yes. Things went down hill from that point on.
Service was terrible. No, do you need refills on drinks or salsa. No how was your meal. After 2 times explaining how bad my meal was the same response “ sorry about that” then walked away.
My meal consisted of 3 soft shell tacos that were full of bitter onions and tiny ( I mean I don’t know how they cut them that small ) pieces of burnt meat. The onion to meat ratio was close to 10 to one in favor of the bitter onions. The soft tacos were all served sitting on the refried beans. Very soggy and impossible to pick up. That meal should not have left the kitchen. The waiter offered no solution and honestly he just did not care. My friend who was with thought maybe he didn’t offer a solution because he was going to take the meal off of the bill. I definitely would have preferred getting another item. She was wrong. I got the bill and the waiter was smug about the entire ordeal.

When we got to the restaurant, we got put into Jimmie’s section and what a master class server! Super attentive, generous, and genuine person. Easily the BEST we’ve had at any margarita factory. Look forward to coming back and getting in his section. Thanks a ton!

My friends and I ate there on Friday and it was my 1st time. Our server Jared, was Top Notch ? The food, drinks and our server was Five Stars all night! Thank you Margarita Factory for a great first time experience!!!
