Margarita Factory Tigard

As always, the Margarita Factor does not disappoint. The food was excellent & their Margaritas are perfection.

I had the Arroz Camarones and a couple of my shrimp still had their casing. Which was a little gross. Luckily, somehow, it didn't deter me from eating it all. It's so good. But perhaps a little more attention to detail when they prepare shrimp dishes.

Birthday fun for 5 on a Sunday - yes it was a noisy and we had to talk pretty loud to hear one-another but it wasn't terribly loud - and we liked the upbeat atmosphere (our group ranged in age from 22-78). The Happy Hour menu was full of good selections (we had the coconut shrimp - it was fresh and the 5 shrimps were big - and not bready). Drinks are 16 ounces -- waaayyy too big, IMO. Made it impossible for anyone to order more than just the one. I wouldn't recommend the Guadalajara Salad if you're really wanting a salad - it's more like biscuits and gravy but with the gravy glopped over iceburg lettuce and chicken. Tasted okay but nothing special. Everything tasted "okay" but not flavorful or as exotic or tasty as anticipated. They asked if it was a "special occasion" but nothing happened - we thought they might bring a birthday candle? I don't know why they bothered to ask? All in all we think it's a fun place to go with a big group, but it's more style than substance. Basic chips, basic food. Good service.

Food was good and great deals for happy hour. Service was really really slow. I'd be more understanding if it was packed but they weren't very busy. It's still a good spot for happy hour with friends.

We made a reservation, but it seemed like another group ahead of us didn't like their seat, so they were given ours. We ended up waiting an extra almost 30 minutes past our reservation time. The food and server were great! And the restaurant was clean and very beatutiful.

If you have ever been to a restaurant and the sevice is so bad they have to send the "fixer" out to your table you will understand Margarita Factory service. It was so bad when me and my buddy got our tab we felt generous with a 10% tip. Super cool ambiance, and is close to the mall. If you are close maybe give it a chance but it is definitely not a place to drive to

Heard they had great food, and being in the mood for great food, we went to the Gresham branch. Wowza. Their SMALL Margarita is a very healthy serving. She added mango, I added strawberry for $0.50 each. They have a lot of offerings and many are much larger. Chunky guacamole was exactly as advertised and very tasty. Both of us had Fajitas which were served on a sizzling platter. Probably could have shared one, but we like leftovers so that was fine; as there was a LOT of leftovers. Shared a flan dessert, which was super yummy and served with whipped cream. Service was good and very attentive. More chips? Right away. You know how someone always asks "how's it going" just as you take a bite? Gave 'em two thumbs up at least three times. It was not quite too much attention, but close. Atmosphere was clean, modern and pleasant. Menus are VERY extensive and detailed. Exterior signage is quite low key. Guessing that's by careful design. Had we not heard good things, we might not have gone in. Guess that's ok, I think you'll want to tell your friends.

We went into the restaurant on Black Friday. We were sat right away. It took about 10 minutes to get greeted by our server and another 10 to get drinks. The timing didn't bother me and my friend because we work in the industry and now how it is. however, the server was so rude and indifferent. When it started to become 30 minutes and a food order was still not taken We decided to leave. I hadn't even touched my drink and my friend maybe had two sips of hers. I'm not sure if it was a manager or host that ran after us in the parking lot to tell us we had a tab. I said the service was horrible and we had been there for too long with still no food order. We literally watched the table of 4 next to us get their meal and finish it before we walked out. Then the guy looked at the ticket to check the timing to see if it matched my complaint and said "ok ill make the server pay" without even so much an apology. Funny how the minute we decide to leave the server all of sudden became very attentive and available...but only to hunt us down for two drinks we didn't consume after being rude and dismissive the whole course of us being there. How about a servers ourselves we know he doesn't have to pay for those drinks, and how about a sorry and better customer service.

The punchbowl margarita here is .... nothing short of fabulous.

Food, service, atmosphere.. all top notch.

They have a dessert that look like Xerxes throne in the movie 300.

Jimmie was fantastic! Our first time here wasn't the best service, and Jimmie made sure we were well taken care of this time. We needed a mom's night out, and the margaritas were on point, we will be back again, and ask for Jimmie!

My wife and I wanted to try this place. We stood at the front counter for 5 minutes with noone coming to assist us.

The waitresses were on their phones in the corner. The bartender saw us, and continued what he was doing without getting the attention of anyone else.

Absolutely worthless, don't waste your time with this place.

Augustine was amazing! Food was phenomenal. But the cliques between the waiters should be a huge insult to the GM. I had the honor of being placed where the waiters do their business at the computers and it was shameful to hear them talk smack about eachother even withhold tables from waiters who could use it but give them to their friends as the waiter who had too many tables was too busy to handle them effectively. I am glad I got to experience this energy and help shed some light on how things could be handled better.

I would come back over and over again if I couls be guaranteed a waiter like Augistine. As a former food service industry worker myself. If I come in and get any of these highschool behavior waiters. I wont be spending my time or money here.
