This place is engraved in my mind from a random snowstorm that struck about 8 years ago. In a nutshell, my friend and I got stuck at McMenamins from a snowstorm then ate and drank like royalty. Their food is delicious and their brews top it off for the ultimate experience. So next time there's a snowstorm, drop by John Barleycorns.

Great spot with a cozy, laid-back vibe. The food was really good and hit the spot, and the atmosphere makes it a place you actually want to hang out and enjoy your time. Perfect for a relaxed meal or casual get-together. Would definitely go back.

McMrnamins us always an interesting choice. The buildings they select always have some sort of historical value. They fill them with interesting antiques, tchotchkes and even some handmade things that always catch the eye. This particular location, there were several things that have been carved from wood as well as a large antique wood burning stove that we got to sit right next to. Honestly, I'd love to own one. The food is always good and the service here was fantastic....
