Inviting ambiance. Polite servers. Amazing food. Easy parking lot parking. I stopped by at 4pm on a Sunday afternoon and it was surprisingly busy. I was quickly seated and ordered the Sake Aisuru Don and edamame. The Sake Aisuru Don (salmon sashimi, salmon belly, and minced salmon over rice) was extremely fresh. The meats were so refreshing and filling. The soft and silky salmon meats made my tastebuds sing. The edamame was portioned well and the light salt was nice. I'm pleased to have had an experience that makes me want to return!

This ramen is so good I started eating before remembering to take a picture. It’s so far, my favorite ramen in Portland. I get Tonkatsu with added spice. The broth is amazing, thin but still rich. The chashu is glazed and savory. The noodles are the consistency I like most. They don’t feel like 99¢ noodles from an Asian store.The one downside is that the sushi is mediocre. Has little flavor. So I’d recommend getting just ramen

My first time here and The first time I had a Japanese meal after my visit to Kobe & Osaka Japan. Bit nervous and hesitant that I wouldn’t be satisfied HOWEVER it was as good as the best food I had in Japan., I was extremely impressed with the presentation of the food as the flavor was Amazing ? also the attention to detail and the quality of the food especially the salmon. The salmon teriyaki was SUPERB! A must try. And salmon Sashimi? was tender & phenomenal! Really worth more than what they are charging!!!

Not sure why this restaurant got high ratings.I tried sashimi but it looks like frozen sashimi, it was also very expensive.I tried Unagi-don, but it was not so good.The restaurant looks new and clean, but the food was not satisfying.

I am nerved disappointed with their costumer service, food quality or atmosphere. Not to mention their amazing lunch menu! Everything about this place is amazing. They have a good variety on sushi too!

Atmosphere and service was very good, and we appreciated that. I can't say the same about the food though. The sushi and rolls didn't taste very fresh at all. The sushi rice was not short grain and "sticky". The wasabi was (I'm pretty sure) from a tube and not freshly made--easy to tell the difference. The Hamachi yellow tail appetizer was pretty decent however. The quality overall is what I would expect from a supermarket sushi-rolls kiosk.

Great sushi all around. The only thing I would say is the otoro and chotoro are not worth the price but everything else was fantastic. Service was great.
Appetizers were great. The ramen soup ( curry) tasted heavenly and very well balanced with the best textured noodles. The unagi don was delightful.

Just finished gorging ourselves there. If you love the fish, omakase, sashimi, nigiri, this is definitely the spot. Presentations on point, uni options (Santa Barbara or Hokkadio tonight). Price point is unbeatable (if you know fish) and quality is amazing. Seattle native living in Eugene and I drive for good fish, this place is high on my list!
Man, I want to like this place but the ramen is disgusting, bland, no taste, by far the worst ramen to go for here. We order spicy ramen and ask for pork belly, they charged $5 for a small 2” round pork belly no other proteins. My wife order shoyu ramen and protein was just an egg. Overall tast like something you can get from an instant ramen, let me back that up, the instant ramen taste better. Sounds like Chinese owners trying to cook Japanese food, like please stick to your own Chinese food and don’t make another food you’re not familiar with.
