Peet's Coffee

I am coming from the green mermaid coffee and no cap, I enjoyed the coffee and food more, could be beginners luck but I will return 😋 😊 😀

We contacted the shop to get a large order in for a company meeting on a Friday. Claudia, the SM and James the ASM helped us and all 35 sandwiches were hot and bagged up 5 minutes earlier than promised on Monday morning and delicious! Thank you for having vegan options that are awesome too! We will be back!

They messed up my order - happens - which took them 20 minutes to make. 15 minutes on my road trip I tasted it and it was not what I ordered. I turned around and nicely said that I got a wrong order. No apology, nothing. He just looked at me suspiciously and said, we’ll have to remake them. Another 20 minutes. A simple “I’m sorry” would go a LONG way. It would also be nice not to have to wait another 20 minutes for something I ordered long time ago. Do better!

Enjoyed the herb tea selection and met with a colleague to talk about the future. The small space can become quite loud when filled with customers.

I had a fun interaction with the barista on staff and enjoyed my coffee immensely. The Havana cappuccino is beyond addicting.

It's been a while since I've been to Peet's and while the employees were warm friendly and hard working, I was so disappointed to see that the espresso is no longer pulled by hand and milk is no longer carefully steamed but rather left for the machine to do. My drink was underwhelming. Given the prices, I'd much rather visit an independent shop with handmade drinks.

Peet's is not perfect but continues to be the last and best "old-school" coffee chain around. Their coffee drinks always taste richer and fuller than its big competitor. I will always go out of my way to visit a Peet's whenever possible.

Love the coffee at this place

After waiting near 20 minutes for a cappuccino I left.
