This place is so cool! Games and kareoke. Plus, amazing cocktails and unique nachos. The curry nachos are my favorite. I also love the lounge to just chill with my book and a cocktail. This place has it all!

The owners/employees are very welcoming and friendly. The game selection is decent, though there are many games that our group had never heard of before. Didn’t see many classics. The food and drinks were pretty good, too. However, it looks and feels like it just opened last week. It's very bare bones and gets LOUD as soon as 4-5 tables are occupied.
We happened to come on trivia night, which also felt like it was a new event because the host did not seem to know much about the topic/themes or how to interact with and control a crowd. If you just want to enjoy board games and be able to have a conversation with friends and family, I suggest arriving early and leaving before 8pm.
It was a good experience worth trying again and planning ahead. The lounge across the hall seemed much quieter and apparently there are rooms to rent.

This is our favorite game bar in Portland. Great cozy feel with awesomely weird art everywhere. Games are in great condition, the room rentals are worth every penny if you're looking for an affordable event. The staff are so nice and helpful. Food is good considering the basic kitchen they are working with. Drinks are great and there are a lot of mocktail options!

Senet has quickly become one of my favorite establishments. Primarily a board game bar, they also host a plethora of other events, ranging from trivia and bingo to Dungeons & Dragons; they even offer rentals for events and parties, which is always a nice bonus.
Derrick, the owner, has cultivated an incredibly welcoming environment over the years, whether you’re going solo or with a larger group. The board game collection he’s amassed is quite impressive — it’s hard to imagine someone not finding SOMETHING they’re into. Catan, Cards Against Humanity, Hues and Cues, you name it!
The service side of Senet is equally top-notch. Katie, Nichole, and Jenn are not only attentive and friendly, but also super knowledgeable. If they’re unable to offer a specific beverage, they’re quick to come up with a solution — often one that’s even better than what I had originally had in mind. They’re the kind of people who make you feel like you’ve known for years, even if you just met them yesterday. I always look forward to my conversations with them.
All in all, I can’t recommend Senet enough — as far as I’m concerned, it’s THE spot for boozy board games, good vibes, and genuinely great service. I’m looking forward to being a regular for years to come.

We celebrated a retirement here with games, drinks and catered food. The staff could not have been more friendly, kind and helpful. They have a special area you can rent out for your group at very reasonable prices. Everyone had a great time!

Senet is a very fun game bar in Tigard! The staff are always so welcoming, they make great drinks (Katie ??), and they have fun Bingo and Trivia nights . I have been coming here every a Thursday for trivia for about 3 years now and look forward to their food and drink specials each week. (They also have a great selection of games to play)
My friend invited us to John Hughes trivia night and it was pretty fun! I hadn’t been before and rather enjoyed it, even though I didn’t have very many answers. Delicious drinks and yummy food! I recommend the She Spicy margarita.
