That kitchen was indeed open. I do wish for there to be more stronger flavors and larger portions but honestly this place rocks. Are you wondering about the open kitchen? The walls in the kitchen are bulletproof glass with the cooks and stoves going absolutely sicko mode
Tasty food good service
Wu's food is what I use to rate food from other restaurants. Whenever I'm in the area, I always make it a point to eat here.
I get better Chinese food at Safeway. Server had the personality of a fry sponge. One and done.
One of the very best Chinese restaurants in Portland. We have been going here for 30 years.
I asked specifically that the chicken not be breaded and fried and it was. No vegetables in the Kung Pao chicken, weird. Also no spice. Otherwise okay, just not worth more than 3 stars.
We drive 40 miles one way for Wu's! I'm a 30-year customer! Cashew Chicken is the best ever! Highly recommended!
Fantastic food, friendly service. Pretty cool that you can watch them cook while you eat! Will 100% be back many times. I recommend the green bean chicken and sesame beef.
Been going here for years. Love the food and the peeps. And also free soup during lunch
We ordered takeout from this place, thinking it would be above average Chinese food based on the reviews. What a disappointment. We got two of the chef's specials and two noodle dishes, and nothing was good. Sauces were the blandest I've ever tasted from a Chinese restaurant. Two were supposed to be hot& spicy but had zero kick at all. Veggies, mushrooms were clearly not fresh, eg canned/frozen. Overly greasy. I can't fathom how this place has 4.5 avg reviews, maybe they serve different food in the restaurant.

Literally best place to eat in Tigard
Happened to be passing through and googled Chinese food near me. This place came up. Worst Chinese I have ever had in my life!! Food was saturated with oil!! My kung po chicken was deep fried. Service was great however the food sucked!! Do yourself a favor and skip this place if you are ever in the area and looking for Chinese food
The food here is delicious, and I appreciate being able to see the kitchen through the glass while the cooks prepare the meals. It gives a sense of transparency and cleanliness, which I really like.
However, the service is inconsistent. Sometimes, the servers are very friendly, but other times, they seem to ignore certain customers, which can feel uncomfortable. On multiple occasions, I have felt that service might be influenced by ethnicity, which is disappointing.
Overall, the food has been great, but the service experience needs improvement to ensure all customers feel equally welcomed.
I regularly visit this restaurant with my business partner, and we usually enjoy being served by a gentleman and a slim older lady, both of whom are very friendly and attentive .The food is consistently decent as well though I found my garlic stir fry a little too sweet the last two times. However, there's another lady who behaves a bit strangely. Today, she insisted on receiving a tip in cash and wanted to reverse my transaction because I used Google Pay, which doesn't have a tip option. This feels like an issue with their system, not something customers should have to deal with. Being pressured for a tip like that is uncomfortable at the least. As a result, we're planning to find another Chinese or Thai place for our lunches. This experience was quite unsettling and unpleasant. Sad.
Great food and nice staff.
