I’ve driven by Alice’s so many times and never stopped. This time, we decided to check it out. To my surprise, it was a great choice! House made chicken fried steak knocked it out of the park. Wife had the eggs Benedict.. both very large portions and a bit tough to finish. It was a bit busy… our order got stuck behind a table of 8 and it did take a while, but the servers were friendly and communicated the complication from the kitchen. The steak was savory and tender but lacked the "chicken fried" taste and crispiness.
